Can't think of much. Black licorice, I suppose. I love black licorice but its getting harder to find. When I was a kid I used to love those black licorice pipes. I also like black jelly beans.

Chicken hearts - I think most people would probably find them gross (without having ever tried them) but I like them.

Tinned mackeral and sardines in olive oil. I like sardines, especially the ones with bones.

Meatloaf I guess. I know several people that just won't eat it.
But I do find black licorice to be really tasty.

A lot of people won't eat these but if done right they are great. I'm sure the dog is tasty, too, if done right. I know these people are eating these animals, but instead of grinning for a photo, they really should show a sense of respect and solemnity for the life they snuffed out.

NJtoTX Well then we should all feel bad every time we eat a piece of beef, pork, chicken or turkey. Because something had to be "snuffed out" for us to be eating those things.

You all made me hungry for liver & onions. My mum made it great. She knew how to prepare the liver(in milk). I would say smoked oysters, the kind in the can. We get them for Christmas every year & devour them. Raw beef, onions, & rye bread.

Not quite the same if you're a down-the-line recipient of something that was killed a while back - I definitely could not be the one to play God in that situation. I was vegetarian for 4 years partly for that reason. Many of the factory-farmed animals live lives of misery as it is. I had a bow-and-arrow as a kid - I had a squirrel lined up, it looked at me, and I just put the bow down. These animals are smarter and more family oriented than we give them credit for. We like cute and obsequious ones. We eat the others, or just trophy hunt them.

I never liked black licorice until I went to Iceland. The candy stores there had all sorts of different black licorice and candy with varying grades of licorice taste. Now I love it!
I'll second octopus, although grilled octopus is soaring in popularity in recent years. One of my faves when done right.
Ikura sushi.
Gefilte fish. I can't help but like it.
Salmon jerky.
