Do you have a show that you dislike, that annoys you or even enrages you, and/or you dont really get it but you keep coming back to it because of its overall quality?
I have had two like that in my life
1. Crazy ex GF. I recognize the quality of that show but I hate Rebecca and the way show deals or rather doesnt deal with her.
2. Better Things - same thing. the show is So Well written an has such great acting. But I often cant stand Sam. I almost wanna punch her in the face and yell at her in some episodes because she is often so unecessarily arrogant and mean to people but so weak toward her kids for some reason, and gross too. But I do watch it on and on, because its so good overall. br] do you have anything like that?

I used to watch Scandal because it was so much fun to hate the lousy writing and improbable scenarios. I hated the over the top acting with both Kerry Washington and Joe Morgan chewing the scenery.

No. There are too many things I like to waste time watching things I don't like.

No. If I hate it, why would I watch it?
There are so many alternatives.

There are some shows that I really wanted to like, so I watched them longer than I would have otherwise, but no. If I know I don't like something, I generally try to avoid it when possible.
On the other hand, I liked some shows before they jumped the shark, but I kept watching them anyway. Does that count as "hate-watching"?

If you "like some shows" as you say, that is certainly not hate watching. On the other hand, I hate Fox News almost as much as I hate CNN but I find that if I watch both, I can read between the lines and get a clearer picture of the world.

As in, before they jumped the shark.

Sure, the Bay Transformers movies because TF G1 was such a grand time as a kid, when I was very impressionable. That they kept pumping out multi-million dollar live action films isn't nothing. 7 movies now. That's crazy considering their lack of critical appeal.
It's like time travel a bit, taking my 7yr old self to watch them even if they're pretty rough for my adult self lols.

If a show rubs me the wrong way or makes me lose interest, I just give up on it. Adios!

I’ll never understand watching a show you hate simply to revel in the hatred.

No. If I hate it, why would I watch it? There are so many alternatives. thats what makes it so odd that it still happens. i guess it only happens to me on Real high wuality shows, that I get annoyed by for some personal reason perhaps. But on the overall level I do see and connect to its quality. Its not like I sit here hating my life because O have to watch the dreadful show. I voluntarily go bacl tomit, but Still get very annoyed by it and frustrated at times during watching it. but now the show is over and i find myslef wanting more. even though the main character pisses me off so much. weird thing. wanted to know if it happens to others/

Not really. But there are shows I would stop on while channel surfing, and think "what is this rubbish?" before ultimately realizing I absolutely loved them.

Of course not, only morons would sit and watching something that they don`t like. well, apparently not really ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) you see, the problem is that you Do like watchig it on some bizzar level, but at the same time, it does anger you. odd combo but exists. the show must have some given quality obviously for you. it does bring value. lets say it may be “the best thing to watch right now”...
