What list are you reading from? Greatest novels of all time list actually. I've seen so many different lists called 'greatest novels ever' or something like that but I haven't really used them as a reading guide.
The only list I am currently following is from a book I bought at least 15 years ago called Science Fiction: the 100 Best Novels by David Pringle. I've been making my way, slowly, through that list. Even though I have always been a fan of SF movies and tv, I didn't realize how little I knew of SF literature, which has become my favorite genre.
I just finished Norstrilia by Cordwainer Smith, which means I have read 76 of those novels now.
But I am always interested in what others think about novels, 'best of' lists and so forth.
