Did you actually WATCH TFA? The whole 2nd half of the movie was about him trying to rescue her! And before that he's all holding her hand when he didn't need to. Do you remember this?
It doesn't matter tho'. It's going to end like this...
First of all, they only had Finn try to rescue Rey and hold her hand in order to flip it on him by demonstrating that she didn't need his help at all. They used Finn to make this point repeatedly, to his hurt. Time and time again, he looked stupid while she looked awesome. Secondly, you don't have to have feelings for someone to want to save their life or be protective of them. Finn and Rey care deeply about each other as friends. That's it. Disney made sure that she friend zoned him before showing interest in Kylo Ren, the white villain. They also pushed the new Asian girl on the black guy. You do-sa if yousen screams a girl's name loud enough to be heard on da other side of da galaxy where Hosnia Prime blew up. And yousen holds that scream for 5 minutes like Finn did. It was'n so over da top that even Jar Jar scoffed and face planted. |
