Ivan Klyucharev's remains were found handcuffed to a tree in woods 80 miles from Moscow . Law enforcement say their ‘main version’ of what happened is that the survival skills fanatic tried to recreate a Harry Houdini escape trick, but blundered and died in the remote location after leaving on a trip in May 2017. However they are also examining evidence that he may have died in a bizarre BDSM sexual experiment. Another line of inquiry is that Klyucharev, was murdered, and the crime scene was set up to make it look like he had killed himself in a bizarre accident. His remains were found in a lying position and he was handcuffed to a chain which was secured around a tree. Close to his skeleton was the solo hiker’s tent. At the scene were five sets of handcuffs, three metal chains, six padlocks and a book on knots. British Media reports that there was video camera camera pointed at himself. But i could not find that information from Russian news sources! Ivan Klyucharev had earlier hitchhiked across Russia and often went on walking trips to remote spots. His friends reports that Ivan was little bit mentally unwell and like to challenge himself and Destiny. Ivan was member of so called Academia of Survivors (people who likes extremes and challenges). What do you think? reference source in Russian: Video about Ivan www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4dF-sJyJYM2:19 min his friend is telling that Ivan had already chained himself to tree before, but was found by police (because his parents reported that he is missing and they found him because he had his mobile with him) 3:07 Ivan`s grandmother is telling that Ivan liked to disappear suddenly and did not liked that his relatives was worrying about him and lately liked to travel without mobile to maximize extreme. www.eg.ru/society/accident/723084-prikovannyy-cepyami-k-derevu-skelet-nashli-v-podmoskovnom-lesu/English sources and PHOTOS !!! www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6931007/Skeleton-failed-Houdini-handcuffed-tree-Russia.htmlmetro.co.uk/2019/04/17/hikers-skeleton-found-chained-tree-handcuffs-two-years-going-missing-9227145/

Sad, but I don't find it all that unbelievable that someone could die as the result of attempting a dumb stunt, which is probably exactly what happened here.

Yeah, I'm in the 'foolish stunt gone wrong' camp.
