“...Johnny Depp has been on a lawsuit tear. Not only is he suing ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation, he is suing former attorney Jake Bloom. Depp’s lawsuit concerns, among other things, what he now feels was bad advice given on how to handle the divorce from Heard. Bloom has served deposition notices to everyone — from former Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara, to Heard, to Heard’s ex Elon Musk. “Sources familiar with the deposition requests say Tsujihara will be asked to testify under oath about whether or not he played a role in ‘blacklisting’ Heard at Warner Bros.,” says The Hollywood Reporter. Depp, who stars as Grindelwald in the WB tentpole Fantastic Beasts series, allegedly asked Tsujihara in 2017 to kick Heard out of Aquaman. Of course, Heard had already played Mera in 2016’s Justice League, so things would have seemed amiss if Tsujihara had caved.“

Well, if it's okay to get someone fired because they asked if they could masturbate in front of you, you should be able to if they chopped your damn finger off.

We don’t know what the hell the real story is. Depp’s legal team claimed that Heard admitted to abusing him under oath back in 2016, but it turns out that her “admission” was actually her claiming that she was protecting her sister from her crazed husband. Nothing about this fiasco is clear to the public.

I mean, don't get me wrong- I don't like the idea that an actor/actress could call somebody and get their ex fired, even if that ex is as terrible an actress as Amber Heard (I'm sorry, she has rubbed me the wrong way since the first movie I ever saw her in- I didn't know her name, just knew she annoyed me and when I heard she was going to be in AQUAMAN, I wanted to know how hard up DC was that they couldn't get a decent actress for the role)... but if they had gotten someone other than Amber Heard to be Mera- I would have done cartwheels.

"Depp’s attorney, Adam Waldman, tells The Blast, “Having been caught by 19 sworn eyewitness statements, 87 surveillance videotapes, audio tape and photographs faking her claims, Ms. Heard has decided to concoct new fake claims of abuse.”
Someone is definitely lying and definitely an unspeakable monster. The judge and the due process need to get to the bottom of this and rule based on the evidence. Whoever is lying here needs to be flushed down the toilet and forgotten forever.

"Depp’s attorney, Adam Waldman, tells The Blast, “Having been caught by 19 sworn eyewitness statements, 87 surveillance videotapes, audio tape and photographs faking her claims, Ms. Heard has decided to concoct new fake claims of abuse.” Someone is definitely lying and definitely an unspeakable monster. The judge and the due process need to get to the bottom of this and rule based on the evidence. Whoever is lying here needs to be flushed down the toilet and forgotten forever. Had a huge Disney fan (and personal friend) ask me about this, as she felt bad about going to see movies with either actor until she knew what the heck was going on. She said she didn't want to support a movie with a wife beater, nor did she want to support a movie with a woman who'd accuse an innocent man to destroy him out of spite (because it makes it that much harder for the next women/child/etc. with a genuine claim). I told her that I had looked at this way: prior to Heard's claims, Depp had been in trouble with the law but primarily for property damage and acting stupid (i.e. public intoxication, smoking illegal substances, etc.) but never anything violent to my knowledge, and from whatever I heard about him from the sets of films and fan-encounters on social media- he seemed a nice enough fellow, and he had visited Childrens Hospital type places on his own time/dime. Heard, on the other hand, had surveillance video of her at an airport (a place where everyone knows you are constantly being watched) of her physically assaulting her romantic partner of the time, I did not recall any stories about her visiting sick kids on her time/dime (I'm not even sure I heard about her going with the JUSTICE LEAGUE crew at any point- I could have missed it, and I'm not saying celebs who don't visit are evil, I understand some people may not have the emotional fortitude to withstand that kind of thing, kudos to the people who work there every day), and I had heard fans who met her either found her beautiful and charming or they found her acting like a brat- no middle ground. I told her, keeping that in mind, I was more inclined to believe Depp than Heard- but I pointed out that I wasn't there, I don't actually know either of these people, and I'm hardly a professional people-reader so Who Knows? But I do agree, I wish someone would just get to the bottom of this and let us all know, so that way it would end such debates by fans of either actor, on if they can feel alright about spending money on a film with either actor in it.

Anyone could’ve played that role as long as they looked good so it wouldn’t have mattered that much.
