I'm not an adherent to any religion, but a neighbor always invites me to take part in her Seder. Traditionally, I've been asked to bring the carrot dish, which I do with Bourbon and brown sugar ... butter, too, as she doesn't keep Kosher. A few months ago, I saw a video on Matzo Ball soup. I was intrigued, and offered to do that dish, too.
Chicken soup is a given, but I was beginning to dread the success of the Matzo Balls. I'm simmering the last batch, now, and I'm quite excited. They're buoyant, and the aroma is great. I just hope that translates to the palate.

Went to an amazing seder last night. 22 people, plus Ejijah and Miriam. Matzoball soup was quite good - I usually don't partake of it or skip the ball part.

22 people ... Wow. There were 9 of us. And, my Matzo Balls were very good. I was so pleased, and I think I might have the job, permanently.
