feels like the phils have never won a game in the history of Coors Field no matter how putrid the rockies are - 19 men left on base last night  (any philly fans here remember the playoff series circa 2008-11 at Coors with the demented spastic kid in the front row behind home plate behind camera all 9 innings in the Elmer Fudd hat?)  i gotta dig for a picture of this or see him captured on youtube - any help would be appreciated - you'd be watching the series - and you were seriously concerned for this spazz who couldn't sit in his seat - it was more entertaining then the game itself |

Is he? they've used him as a utility man primarily - started against the Mets because Hoskins slid hard into the bag and jammed his ankle - they moved franco to 1st and kingery to 3rd. i haven't watched the past couple of rockies games - late games on the west coast

The Marlins have fired their hitting coach. Not surprising, as we have the worst offense in MLB, but it isn’t exactly his fault that there is no talent on the roster. That being said, I hope they fire Mattingly soon, he’s not a good manager IMO and we need to get someone younger in as manager IMO.

That being said, I hope they fire Mattingly soon, he’s not a good manager IMO and we need to get someone younger in as manager IMO. It's April 20th and they fired their hitting coach? Is this a record All-Time early firing? I think Doug Moe was fired from the Sixers like 2 weeks into a season eons ago.

Jays starter Shoemaker sprains his knee in a rundown, forced to leave.
10-0, A's quit wasting their pen, enter Kendrys Morales to pitch the 9th. Morales later bats in the bottom of the 9th as a pitcher, so the DH is obviously dead.
Vladdy Jr. probable for the A's series back in Toronto this week. I might go on Saturday to vote with my wallet.

Mets need to start using their bullpen less. If Syndergaard can go 7 innings they should have a pretty good chance to win.
