always liked this radiohead song - they may have played it in the Claire Danes/Jared Leto show 'My So Called Life' think it was on ABC then MTV picked it up...........
shit that show made it feel like you got punched in the gut as a kid - how high school felt having a high school crush........

My Mount Rushmore has always been "Beatles, Who, Zeppelin, Floyd" but I'll mix it up
The Who (Nod to rest of Rushmore) Iron Maiden (Nod to Sabbath & Metallica) Chris Cornell (I can't choose between Soundgarden or Audioslave, so I chose Chris and I can have his solo and covers! Nod to AIC)

The Roots The Beatles The Who ah..
the Roots - with Philly roots - who made it to mainstream - i.e playing everynight on the Tonight Show
loved this beat at the beginning which appeared in HBO's 'Entourage' in a segment when Ari was p*ssed and about to raindown a sh*tstorm of Karma against a former colleauge

I’m still a fan but I mostly became a fan after Come Alive came out. Those first few albums are especially great. They had kind of a shift in tone over the years that made them mildly less appealing but there’s still dozens of songs of theirs from the late 90s early 2000s that I could listen to over and over.

Pink Floyd Tool Dream Theater Supposed to be a new Tool album this year, although it's been quiet on that front for a few weeks now. They announced a handful of shows in the US and some festivals as well, but I'm dying for them to come up to NY. I saw them in 1994 at Roseland in NYC, the only time I saw them. I've seen Perfect Circle and Puscifer but I would jump at the chance to catch Tool again. Awesome stuff. Highly skilled group.

I love the band, of course, but Tool just sucks now. I just saw them live recently and Maynard had his mic turned down all the way down. He also hid in the back behind the drums. The guitar was also having problems working and would cut in and out. It was one of the worst shows I have ever seen and they are one of my favorite bands.

Mua? Well how nice of you to ask.
Alice In Chains AC/DC Van Halen
Was listening to Devil Put Dinosaurs Here by Alice in Chains again last night, one of their very underrated albums.
