I'm pretty sure the villains of the mcu all have conflicting motivations that don't fit together. Guys like Zemo or Vulture would dislike Loki, Ego or Ultron just as much as the Avengers do.

That’s where ingenious writing comes in you bimbo. Good luck with that. Then don’t include those guys together. But Armin Zola in his robot body. Then add Klaue in his sonic form. Maybe it’s easier with the DCU tbh. But they should put unseen characters in. They’ve only got thousands of them. |

I loved the Thanos crew, especially Ebony Maw, but they were not villains before Infinity War.

I prefer the idea of one overwhelming villain that the lesser heroes have to band together to stop.
X-Men, Spider-Man, maybe even the Defenders would work with Supervillain teams.
But for FF, even Avengers, it always feels forced and kind of lame. Doctor Doom, Loki, and Red Skull together conspiring to take down the Avengers from behind the scenes is one thing, but teaming up with street level super villains in a big slug fest just fits better with DC’s more fantasy-based tone.
The narratives would be all over the place if Asgard villains and Hydra and AIM and The Hand were all working together. It’s better when the team was preexisting, like Crossbines and Red Skull and Strucker and Zemo all already being affiliated with hydra.

The next phase should focus on building up a team of super villains to be the next big bad. Something similar to the Emissaries of Evil. They should not be overwhelmingly powerful but powerful enough to create some awesome 1 on 1 and group fight scenes.

I guess it's a valid complaint. I'd like to see a movie where we have at least 2 main villains, instead of a main villain and a henchman. I thought Black Panther was going to be like that but they killed off Klaue too soon.
The closest we have so far is the black order but again they were simply henchmen.

With the success of Venom, Sony could try their hand at a MCU Sinister Six movie.
They've got Vulture already. Mysterio is going to be in this new one. Scorpion had a cameo. Shocker could come back with a proper suit this time. So that's four right there. Throw in Doctor Octopus and Kraven and they could get on with it.
