As it is the eve of Endgame's release it is time for thenewnexus to share their essays on, -How Robert Downey, Jr. is one of the worst actors alive, how the public has been duped into believing he is a great actor, how politics played into his two Oscar nominations, why Iron Man's success was 'a fluke'. -How Darcy Lewis is the most important, well-rounded female character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and means so much to it than any other character. And as a bonus, citing at least one example of a live-action comic adaptation that better captures the visual aesthetic of Jack Kirby's artistic style than Thor: Ragnarok. |

Dear Mr. JudgeJuryDredd, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it is we did wrong, but we think you're crazy for making us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us, in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out, is that each one of us is a Darcy Lover, and an RDJ Hater, and a Kat stalker, a (closeted) MCU fan, and a grammatical terrorist. Does that answer your question? The complaint is he plays himself. Maybe yes or no. He does fall to playing a type & that doesn't especially stretch his talent. He HAS done some excellent acting over the years, but he doesn't push his skill as other actors do. Not to complain, though. He has proven himself so who cares if he pushes it or coasts? Hasn't he earned it? Darcy is fun. I never got the hate for her. She's more similar to people I have met than Jane Foster. Dr Strange? Wasn't the Quantum Realm in Antman a tribute to Kirby?
