Signed by the University of Tulsa on Wednesday were junior-college standout Brandon Rachal and Arkansas transfer Keyshawn Embery-Simpson, heavily pursued players who recently committed to Frank Haith and the Golden Hurricane.
A 6-foot-6 wing whose career began at LSU, Rachal averaged 15.5 points and 8.7 rebounds this season as a sophomore at Pearl River Community College in Mississippi. He also shot 49.7 percent from the floor with 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game en route to second-team NJCAA All-America honors.
