If wages aren't paid by the end of Friday, they won't play their Championship game against Brentford tomorrow.

Bolton should now have to refund all tickets, and all pre-booked travel tickets. Club should be wound up... It's a basket case.

Wonder what would happen if that was it - if the Bolton players didn't get paid and refused to play the season out at all?
Would the points from all their fixtures get removed and the league get recalculated on the basis of a 22 team division? Could be interesting if that happened - no odds to Leeds / Sheffield Utd who both beat them home and away but would sure have an effect somewhere in the play off / relegation spots...

My guess is that results to date would stand and unplayed matches would be treated as 3-0 wins.

We lost to the buggers so expunging results wouldn't affect our position, but the EFL have got to take a lot of the blame for this, club should have been placed in administration ages ago, if it happens now they will start minus 12 points for next year which could be disastrous in League 1. I wouldn't trust the guy supposedly buying them with a bargepole. He is a bankrupt twice and still owes Watford 1 million. It wouldn't surprise me at all if his potential buying of Bolton is just a way of leveraging loans. Absolute farce of a situation.

I'm kind of thinking the Bolton players should have played the last two games as scheduled as a thank you to the fans who have kept with it through the season.
Then all quit en masse straight after the last game.
Get the PFA to pay the outstanding wages to players and club staff.
Then turn the lights out, liquidate the club, and wait for a genuine buyer, and start again at the bottom...
Bassini is no good. Him and Anderson should be barred from football.

Bassini is no good, agreed. Its a real pitiful situation, they have a rich recent history with big Sam and his early mid 2000s team that finished in the top 6.

Expert on radio just said rules are... If Bolton don't fulfill their remaining fixtures, Bolton's results get 'expunged' from the league.

If Millwall lost to Bolton then having their results expunged would be good news for you surely? At worst it wouldn't see you lose ground against any of the other teams threatened with relegation.

Yes, but we should be safe in a few hours anyway.
