Well that was a nice full weekend of Motorsport. The Indy Car races were great, MotoGP was action packed as per usual and F1 was a decent race. The onboards from the Mercedes cars in qualifying was mesmerizing to watch. Those cars must be a pleasure to drive. Max goes from zero to hero. Fair play to his mechanics for getting his car fixed on the grid and fair play to Max for dragging a result out of it to split the Mercedes. Kudos to Lewis for another dominant weekend. The rest of the field was an interesting mixed bag and it was a shame the rain didn't come mid race. MotoGP was action packed indeed. Only saw it yesterday. Great action in the Moto3 race as well. IndyCar Race 2 is next up for me. On the Hungary Race: it was good to watch. Glad Max hung on for second. Ricciardo had a tidy race and Stroll is having a tidy season. Hope he can place at some stage. And if anyone likes great finishes, do yourself a favour and watch the closing laps of the second F2 race. Brilliant action. Some famous names in the lower classes too. Mick Schumacher in the F2, Jack Doohan in the F3 and Remy Gardner in the Moto2.

Perez is out for the Silverstone double due to covid. Esteban Gutierrez will probably replace him.
Edit: rumour is that Hulkenberg will take over. It would make more sense, he has experience with these generation cars. Also, Gutierrez is crap and pro’s blu dienst have a valid super licence.

They have gained 0.7 compared to last year at Silverstone. And because we have the stupid token system back for this and next year, no one is going to come close until the new regulations.

Yeah, the gap between merc and others is very large and very bad for the sport. The only good thing is narrowing of gap between 3-12.

It's not that I am talking from hindsight but even when RedBull pitted Max, I thought what a moronic thing to do with Bottas just having retired. They could have got 1 point for fastest lap even from Albon.

How the hell can Hamilton be the winner? He should have pitted, the carcass of the tyre was coming off, that car was dangerous and he should have been black flagged the second he passed the pit entrance.

They could have got 1 point for fastest lap even from Albon. But they wanted it from Max, he is the lead driver. Also, Albon wasnt in the top 10 at that moment, it wasnt certain he would have gotten that point.

He drove a full lap on that tyre when he should have pitted.

He drove a full lap on that tyre when he should have pitted. It happened in the last lap, he had already passed the pit entry.
Also, if Masi wanted him to come in, they would have shown him the meatball.
