It's not that I am talking from hindsight but even when RedBull pitted Max, I thought what a moronic thing to do with Bottas just having retired. They could have got 1 point for fastest lap even from Albon. But they wanted it from Max, he is the lead driver. Also, Albon wasnt in the top 10 at that moment, it wasnt certain he would have gotten that point.
I think it was worth taking chance when you had only one man ahead and who already been out on the same tyre since a long long time. This season would have gotten better with Max winning a race even though Mercedes victory is guaranteed in 2020.

He drove a full lap on that tyre when he should have pitted. It happened in the last lap, he had already passed the pit entry.
Also, if Masi wanted him to come in, they would have shown him the meatball.
No it happened on lap 51 before the pit entrance, he drove a full lap on a dangerous car.

I think stroll vs ocon was a pretty good contest here. Race started and ended well but middle part was non-dramatic and boring but stroll vs ocon was good to see.

Now that was a dramatic finish, i can't recall ever seeing a last lap driven with a puncture to win. I had pretty much given up hope on any action by the mid point of the race so such a good end to the race was a nice surprise.

Well done Hulkenberg. Like Verstappen said, hopefully this performance can give him a seat next season.
What is weird is that Racing Point was illegal in the Styria GP, but somehow the exact same car is not in the other gp's. I can understand why 4 teams are protesting the punishment and want more clarification.

Max is actually lapping faster than both Mercedes at the moment even though Merc are on fresher tyres. Good going Max!

Excellent win by Max. I was watching the race on treadmill and it was so good that I didn't even bother to get down till 1 hour.

Between Max in Britain, Binder in the Czech Republic and a Rea hat trick in Pirtugsl, I've got a lot of replays to watch this week!

Well that was amazing weekend of Motor Sport. F1, WSBK, MotoGP and BSB.
MotoGP never fails to entertain and wow that was an unexpected result in the MotoGP class. I thoroughly enjoyed that, a great 1, 2, 3.
WSBK was good but the quality of the coverage let's it down badly.
The second Silverstone race was more exciting but less dramatic than the first. - I was pleased for Max, he deserves at least one win this year. - Hamilton equals Schumachers podium record too. - Vettel is is looking less and less happy as the races tick by. - Latifi looks to be getting to grips with F1 now. - Some great moves by Albon

The second Silverstone race was more exciting but less dramatic than the first. Yes, it was more exciting for sure. This race reminded me of a movie - The Wages of Fear. Why? Because at one point it looked as if Mercedes might take Hamilton all the way to finish without 2nd pit. So there was a feeling that tyre might be finished and Hamilton's race might not be completed. Also, Red Bull turned up with all the way great performances from everyone including their strategists and of course fro Max and Albon.

Comfortable start for Hamilton. Hopefully, Max can finish 2nd and preferably first if some unanticipated drama happens.

Very easy there for Hamilton. Very good effort by Max to split the Mercedes.

Yeah, not that interesting, not even much going on in the midfield. Good for Verstappen to split the Mercedes. Another weird Ferrari strategy for Vettel. They really like giving him the longest stint on the softest tyre.

Folks, don't you think it is time to quit on F1? I haven't seen a good race since Heinz Harald-Frentzen won the French Grand Prix back in 1999. Come join us Indy Car fans. Today's shootout for the Iddy 500 pole was a thousands more times exciting than today's F1 "race." Come watch the Indy 500 next Sunday. Fernando Alonso is in it. Didn't qualify too well, but he'll be fun to watch.
