As I walking out the theater and it crossed my mind that since the stones are destroyed shouldn’t the universe be fucked sooner or later based on what the Ancient One said?

He said he separated the atoms, meaning the stones were still in the universe just not together. They are mystical/magical/cosmic entities/artifacts. Maybe they don't have to be whole to still serve their function.

In terms of time paradoxes which were the results of this situation, yes.

I thought that was the case but don't know where the idea came from. I didn't know if that was actually in the comic or something I assumed.

Seems like Far From Home is going to be exploring that.

You know who's screwed? The people who were snapped while they were in an airplane or crossing the street. Imagine coming back into existence at 30,000 feet and falling to your death, or immediately getting hit by a bus.

As you were walking out of the theater did it cross your mind that they went back in time to a point where the stones weren't destroyed and bought them for the present day to use, then returned them to the past? Not to mention, where does anyone or anything say that the stones have to exist for the universe to be in harmony?

The Ancient One said that without the stones presents in her world other timelines would crash into it. Which is why they put them back. Yes. But the ones in their world are gone.

Which is why they put them back. Yes. But the ones in their world are gone. They're still out there. Just in pieces. The problem at the beginning was them being completely taken out of time.

he said he separated their atoms. I wouldn’t being being atomized as still being around. The directors confirmed a week ago the stones still existed in the atomic form, they’re just no longer wieldable.
