Initially when only few Dothraki warriors returned after they charged towards the army of the dead I thought Ser Jorah had returned as a wight. I was waiting for him to kill one of the major characters.

LOL. That literally happened to me. Even told the friends I was watching the episode, that Ser Jorah was going to have blue eyes. Also thought Rhaegal and died and there was plot hole if he didn't ressurect when the Night King raised his arms but I saw that both dragons are alive next episode.

My first time through I thought they were going to have us wait until next week for the full tally and more had died than I thought. I was pretty sure Sam had went down and Jon left him for dead and while we saw him later it looked like he could barely keep his eyes open and that was probably it for him, a huge surprise for me. I wondered if that woman being dragged off in the crypts was Gilly as I wasn't able to tell at first. I couldn't recall seeing Gendry for a while, nor Podrick, and I wondered if Brienne would be shown next week dying of her wounds like Jorah at the end. I figured for a while they wanted us arguing all week over which of the characters outside Jon, Dany and Bran had made it as I didn't wait for the preview the first time.

I thought Jorah had died quickly but I didn't think he turned into zombie.
