Theon, Jorah and the Night King are the only ones there that ‘could’ be considered major. Agree with that. Jorah & Theon have over 35 episode in their credits. And Theon is POV character in ASOIF. Although we may consider the Red Woman a major character too at least in terms of the important things she has done in the show/books. Fuel ambitions in Stannis, integral to his storyline as well resurrect Jon. And I think she gave the idea to Stannis to pack up and move north. met with Arya and Gendry too years ago.

Theon, Jorah and the Night King are the only ones there that ‘could’ be considered major. I would only keep Theon in that list. He had complex motivations, an own story-line and a long evolution in several phases. Jorah was the eternally predictable side-kick and the Night King wasn't even a character.

I can't actually think of anyone else who could have died. Brienne maybe? Well, they all could have died. I'm hoping we kept Jon, Jaime, Brienne, Arya, Sandor, Grey Worm (or Tormund) , and Pod alive so we can have a trial of 7 for the throne. |

So the ones that absolutely could not die were: Jaime & Tyrion - Lannister bros have to deal with the Lannister ho Sansa - Queen of the North Hound - Has to fight his brother Arya - NK Killer Jon - Westoros Jesus Dany - Mother of Dragons Samwell - He has a family to feed & he is going to be the official pot stirrer Tha leaves Gendry - He could be the spoiler as Jon & Dany give it all up to be with each her or Dany heads back to Mereen Varys - I think he is going to betray Dany in some minor way and become dragon food Grey Worm - I actually thought he would be a goner but I guess they met their quota of brown people deaths Brienne - She has to confess her love for Jaime
