The first leg in the 1st semi-final of the champions league starts in about 20 minutes. Here's an overview of the two teams. Who's gonna win?
Tottenham: Lloris, Trippier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Eriksen, Alli, Lucas Moura, Llorente
Ajax: Onana; Veltman, De Ligt, Blind, Tagliafico; Schone, Van de Beek, De Jong; Ziyech, Tadic, Neres

1-1 Impossible to predict. Mourhino says Spurs should kick Ajax about a bit, they can't handle the tough stuff

Nightmare night for Spurs, hope Vertongen isnt too serious He looked like he was going to be sick. Man, next week...my nerves... Ajaz should have scored more, but they were sloppy the second half.

Poor Spurs' performance. Eriksen was disappointing and Rose and Trippier were wasteful

Poor performance from us. It was a game in which without Son and Kane, Eriksen and Dele really needed to step up, and they didn't. Dele is largely a passenger these days and more like he plays for England. Our crossing is largely terrible which doesn't help Llorente, who is limited himself with his lack of movement. Lucas was the only one who provided a bit of a threat.
The one positive is we only conceded one when we should have conceded more.

Watching those highlights, Spurs had loads of great chances and squandered them. After reading the match reports, I had been expecting it to be all Ajax.

The main thing I took from this game is that overall Ajax (apart from the first 20-25 mins) did not play all that well. From looking at previous CL matches (only, I haven't seen any Eredivisie football for some time) they have a lot more to offer. Hopefully Ajax do so against the Spuds at home as I really don't wanna see them in the final.

The greatest enemy of Ajax is the away goal rule by now.
