If it was animated I could see Cage doing it for the shits and giggles as he does seem to have a fun streak about himself, but for a live action show I would also doubt he would be willing to invest the time or be cost effective, maybe as a special guest star for an episode he'd do it, again he seems to get a kick out of some of these gigs, all depends on how much he enjoyed being Ghost Rider.
From what I heard though they are using the character from AOS this isn't going to connect to AOS, I dunno depends on who is behind the show is it Marvel TV or is it Marvel Studios, as they seem to be in different universes with just a little commonality, but if this show is connected to AOS your right it connects all the live action shows together...well maybe not Inhumans but yeah connects the Netflix shows and the regular TV shows all together which is cool, though wish they could do more with it at the moment.
But back to Cage I dunno, he gets a lot of roles but most seem very low end minus voice work, so he could be happy to take on a role in a larger project, depends on what he wants, I mean sure having 13 projects going in this calendar year seems great but maybe not so much if he needs to be doing that many, truth is Cage is so out there who knows what he would want to do, could be more along the lines of Marvel being like nope, fuck no we are not referencing those fucking movies, or just being like Nic Cage?...pass, I mean with Cage you never know what you are going to get acting wise, he could be great or he could be awful depends on which side of the bed he wakes up on really..

I thought Nick Cage's first Ghost Rider movie was pretty good. Not great by any means. However the second one was quite bad.

WTF how did I not hear about this? This is like recently finding out about the secret six being developed but canceled over at cbs I heard about 'Secret Six' being cancelled and I was surprised CBS were making that show in the first place and it wasn't going to be on the DC Universe 'cause it seems more like a series that would be better suited for the DC Universe and they would be better off using bigger characters on free to air channels like 'Green Lantern' since it looks like 'Green Lantern Corps' isn't going to happen anytime soon. The other problem with 'Secret Six' is a number of the characters are already being used and are off limits like Batman, Batgirl, Nightwing etc which made numerous appearances in the comic books. They were obviously planning on keeping the Riddler as the leader since they had in the description "Enigmatic leader" and we all know who that is and if the Riddler is going to be in the next season of 'Arrow' or 'The Batman' they probably blocked him from being used along with Deadshot. That is the problem with Warner Bros. They don't care about who they affect when they block characters and that is the one thing I feel sorry for the writers of 'Arrow' with since they obviously had big plans for Deathstroke when they were blocked from using him.

Did you know Nicholas Cage actually recently played Superman in an animated movie? I heard there are plans to release the 'Superman Lives' movie as an animated movie and I haven't heard any more updates about it or if Nicholas Cage will voice the character in the animation but I could definitely still see it happening with all the other animated movies they are making. I was interested in seeing 'Superman Lives' especially when I found out they had Braniac as one of the villains but then I read Braniac was only going to be some computer type of thing used by Lex Luthor and Lex would have merged with Braniac at the end and been the one in control and I am kinda glad that didn't happen 'cause I would rather see Braniac as the main villain on his own and Lex Luthor is overused in Superman live action adaptions. I don't think Nicholas Cage would be willing to invest the time into a TV Show either especially since he is not exactly short on roles but maybe he might still up appearing in a live action comic book movie one day as a superhero or as a villain and there are some fans who want to see him as The Scarecrow which is another role he was set to play at one point but never happened and the Scarecrow (Jonathan Crane) isn't that young so I would say somebody like Nicholas Cage could still play the role.
It will be interesting to see what they do with the 'Ghost Rider' show and I have heard there are rumours Blade could appear in it and they are going to try and spinoff a 'Blade' TV Show and there was a 'Blade' live action show before without Wesley Snipes and I never watched it 'cause I heard it was bad and I am not sure who made that at the time 'cause I don't think it was a Marvel show and was before Marvel got the rights back to the character. It would be fun if they used this to set up some type of small universe with all the darker and Horror types of Marvel superheroes that haven't been used in the movies and they could also have an Elsa Bloodstone show and have them all team up and work together every now and then. I am wondering what Marvel will end up doing with Daredevil, Elektra and the Punisher among others when they have the rights worked out and I think they should move Daredevil and Elektra to the movies and get new actors to play them.

It’s a ok Starzy. I heard the disappointing news and Nicholas Cage spoke about it. And there you have it folks. Damn. Nicholas is hot demand. A Score To Settle, Kill Chain, Primal, Running With The Devil, Grand Isle, Colour Out Of Space, The Croods 2, Prisoners Of The Ghostland, 10 Double Zero. These are all movies he’s working on..

Yeah it just surprised me re Secret Six, as I just heard it was being canceled and not any of the initial article/s where it was being considered to be developed. Huh? Who is in the Secret Six? Im afraid I dont know much about them apart from being a DC villain team

Yes. He did play the voice of Superman in that and it was a nice nod for him almost playing Superman in a movie and it is interesting how many actors came close to playing superhero roles but didn't get them in the end or turned them down and I was surprised we never got Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis (apart from 'Unbreakable'), Jean Claude Van Damme, Steven Segal, Sylvester Stallone, Chuck Norris, Dolph Lungdren, Vin Diesel as DC and Marvel superheroes 'cause those were some of the biggest action stars of the 80s, 90s and 00s but I heard some of them like Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Steven Segal and Jean Claude Van Damme turned down playing Batman in fear of being typecast and I wonder what Bruce Willis would have been like if he played Batman and funny thing is I just read the other Bill Murray was asked to play Batman at one point and I think he would have been too funny playing Batman and would have been more like Adam West's version. What you said about Christopher Walken as Batman is why I don't think Arnold would have worked good as Batman and they said on the Bonus Features of 'Batman & Robin' he was originally asked but he was tired of always playing the hero and wanted to play a villain for a change so they made him Mr Freeze. There is no way you couldn't have told Bruce Wayne was Batman with an accent like that 'cause it stands out and he probably would have thrown in an "I'll be back."

I agree and 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' shouldn't have been made especially so early in my opinion and I know a lot of fans had wanted to see Batman and Superman together on screen but I think it would have worked better if it had been in another movie with the two of them teaming up together and not facing each other for a large chunk of the movie. If they had done it with Christopher Reeve with Michael Keaton like some fans wanted to see years ago I think they would have been friends from the start. Same goes for Stallone & JCVD, those guys have recognisable voices also same for Vin Diesel really, it's just the thing I guess that until Jackman and then really the MCU that being a superhero meant you could be a real viable action hero, as all the superheroes prior to Jackman except Dolph because you know Punisher none of the superheroes were really action stars, now it's like no I believe this guy can be an action star, but it also helps that pure action movies don't carry the weight that they used to.

You bring up a good point about those guys and I didn’t think about that and I completely forgot that Dolph Lundgren was in the first ‘Punisher’ movie and I saw that years ago and I wasn’t really thinking about it at the time ‘cause The Punisher does not really fit the traditional type of superhero role like Batman or Spider-Man for example and fitted more in with his other Action roles. If you count ‘Time Cop’ Jean Claude was kinda a superhero too but as far as fighting skills go if you look at the way that Batman fights in the comic books and Arkham games I could really see Jean Claude Van Dame being perfect for that role when he was younger for the action scenes and I think he could have worn the heavy suit and still been able to do all his martial arts moves.
Val Kilmer was kinda an Action star back then and he was fairly popular in the 90s and he was not as popular here as some of the other names but he was in a few hits and I think Kurt Russell could have worked in a superhero or supervillain role. The typecasting fear was pretty rampant back then and it was said to be the reason why a number of actors turned down playing superheroes back in the 90s and then there was the whole thing with Superman with some people believing the role was cursed and we still have people saying it is ‘cause of what is going on with ‘Man of Steel 2’ and Henry Cavill being believed to not be returning to play Superman again but I think that is just confirms and there was nothing bad that happened to Tom Welling or Dean Cain and Dean Cain gets heaps of roles and does a lot of Christmas movies and Tom Welling chose to leave acting.

I believe youre thinking about Doom Patrol, with Fraser anyway, he stars in it That's the one. Didn't recognise him with that costume though. Where is Luke Wilson? Is he in a costume or secret disguise too? I haven't seen him in Titans or Doom Patrols.
