Yeah, I can see red as passion. Anger = violence = blood = internal organs = heart = love = passion. It works out. The Carmen example is as good as any I can think of. Have you ever seen "Cries and Whispers", Toasted Cheese? There is a color scheme in that movie and it is red and black and white, with a definite emphasis on the color red. It is one of the heaviest, most depressing movies ever. But there is also tons of supressed passion in that movie. There was a pleasant, good looking even hot guy in the gym this morning. He was very attuned to his workout. I was doing my floor stretches near him and he gave me a friendly nod of acknowledgment and approval when I approached the floor space. There was only the two of us in that area. He was wearing black and red of all colours.....
I have seen it once. I have on dvd. Yes, very depressing. My folks attempted to watch it but couldn't deal with it. I believe it is one of Woody Allen's favorite films. '
Oh, I love it when guys interact and are friendly to each other. So nice. Yes, I think that's right. Super depressing, but also quite powerful. When the director believes in what they are doing, that can make all the difference in the world.

I like black and red, but my favorite color combo is blue and orange. The worst might be grey and brown, or perhaps grey and pink. While blue and red look good together, that color combo is horribly overused in sports uniforms.

Red and black together are horribly offensive. They are my two least favorite colors and brought together (to quote "just call me Billie!") makes me wanna ralph! Black means death, and red usually symbolizes blood or anger. Just awful. And there is most definitely a psychology to the use of color. I know some people think red + black is stunning, but I just can't agree. I guess you don't like the Atlanta Falcons uniforms ??

The what? Me no understand... The Atlanta Falcons American football team uniform colors are red and black. Yeah, I got that, I was just playing dumb because I do not follow sports at all. Though I am pretty sure that the Miami Dolphins colors are, in fact, turquoise and orange.

So if you saw on TV the Dolphins playing the Falcons, you would probably pull for the Dolphins because they have more appealing uniforms.

The only reason why I even am aware of MD is because they are sporting my second favorite color combo. I live in Chicago and I can't even tell you the color of the Cubs' uniforms.

For clothes on a man the color combination is important though. Pink and white on a man? Nah. Pink and red? Too flamboyant. I'd wear a pink shirt with grey pants or blue jeans. But pink doesn't always work on a man. It would also depend on the male himself and how he exudes his masculinity and his confidence in wearing pink and his coloring as well. Yes, pink and white too feeble, pink and red to clashy, but pink and black is nice and blue jeans like you have mentioned. I have a pink and brown large striped polo shirt. My coloring is red, so pink can perhaps be a bit too much if on its own. Pink and brown are super nice together! Such a comfortable and warm feel...

I see the term "ginger" online a lot. It must be a British thing. In California we just say redhead. Yeah, this friend of mine has red hair. He's like 6'4" and half Italian so the Roman look with the red hair is drop dead handsome. Funny thing is, he's self conscious about red hair so he dyed his hair black. I told him to shave it and let it grow back. Mine has become dark brown as I got older and thinning. I started going grey in my late 20s. At this stage, I am about 60 percent grey, or really it has kind of a silvery cast. Not super happy about it, but whatever. It's not all that big a deal. Not gonna dye it.

Not gonna dye it. Silver is distinguished Mr. Dirty. Is you dad grey too? Thank you, Toasted Cheese. My dad is 74 years old, and I think is hair is mostly white. But it looks okay on him. For some reason, his moustache still has some brown and black in it. Don't know how that one works. The older gentleman who lives across the hall dyes his hair a pitch black. I couldn't care less one way or the other, but I kind of feel bad for him because it does not look very natural and I would assume (correctly or maybe not) that he dyes his hair in order to look a bit more youthful. But it's just kind of obvious (sometimes you can see the black dye coming down off his temples) and it makes me feel oddly sad. But hey, who knows? Maybe he's a super happy-go-lucky fella!

Jet black is too obvious, especially on an older male. Older females can get away with it depending on ethnicity too. Would a light tan brown suit you Mr. Dirty, but if all else fails, you can always go pink.
Oh, hell no! His hair looks like spun sugar! Or as Ida would say... "your hair looks good enough to eat!"If I continue on my current trend of increasing eccentricity, by the time I am 60, I might find some new joy in wearing wigs! Bring it on, baby!

Oh, hell no! His hair looks like spun sugar! Or as Ida would say... "your hair looks good enough to eat!"At least you have hair Mr. Dirty. I also have a super slow metabolism, which - as Ida also knows - can wreak hell for those of us who are partial to the midnight snack. If only she hadn't gone back for that chicken wing...

Yes, her stomach was the death of her. I have a super fast metabolism Mr. D, but can shove lots in. I am super jealous of that. (tummy rumbles) "...I can't help it!"
