Jeopardy! answers aren't that difficult. Just a matter of getting thar firstust with the mostest. This guy knows how to ring it quick, how to keep control and how to bet. Hell, I probably know 80 - 90% of the Jeopardy! answers. Sitting on my couch. I'd probably be a Ralph Kramden in real life, "Hamena, hamena, hamena." Or I'd get a Final Jeopardy! in a category I don't know shit about. Fashion, Country Music, Mongolian Literature, something like that.
I've seen the guy, I thought he could never e beat but I seen he came within $18 of losing.

I think the “only won by $18” thing is slightly out of context. That episode was one of the few where someone else was conceivably in range during final jeopardy. James bet just enough to be ahead of the other guy if that guy had doubled his score. He could have bet a whole lot more. |
