Like a fairy tale she became a star, Audrey Kathleen Ruston, better known as Audrey Hepburn was born 90 years ago in Ixelles, Brussels, Belgium.
She had experience from ballet and theatre and even a few movies behind her when she went on a Holiday in Rome.
A movie star and a fashion icon, and later in life a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF.
She left us too early, in January 1993, aged only 63!
A non-complete life in pictures:
Rehearsing with Colette for the theater version of Gigi.
The Broadway season 1951 to 1952.
Ondine 1954, Audrey's only theater credit once she had become a movie star.
