It's going to make a ton. I saw an article that said it was tracking to open on the level of some superhero movies. It made a record for most viewed trailer in a day and people seem to really like what they see.
Domestically I'm thinking it could do over $400 million.
Worldwide then a billion should be easy for this.
I could see this being one of the biggest movies of all time. Like Frozen big.

It will to huge business, but let's be realistic. This is not Star Wars huge. It's Jungle Book huge. I predict it will just reach 1 billion worldwide. It will make much more when dvd and merchandise is included.
I'm looking forward the this, and no one should be disappointed if it doesn't reach lofty expectation of some. My 2cents.

Oh I'd definitely say it was more than Jungle Book huge. The animated movie was always much more popular for one thing and I'm seeing far more anticipation for this.
Jungle Book money should be the low end.
I'm thinking $1.2-1.3 billion.

I think it'll be closer to Jungle Book than Frozen.
Frozen Domestic: 400M 31.4% Foreign : 875M 68.6% =Â Worldwide: Â $1,276,480,335
I know this will make it's money domestically in spades. I honestly don't know the popularity of BatB in the overseas markets.
A healthy domestic box office and an even healthy foreign box office is what took Frozen to 1.2B. Jungle Book did great in the box office. It didn't disappoint at all reaching near 1B.
BatB is my favorite Disney movie. I remember watching it on my VHS player. I hope it will make 1.5M. I'm just saying I'm unsure of the foreign market for this.

Well it's a mostly English cast. The movie is set in France. It's a Disney movie, I don't see how it would lack in any international appeal.

hey, I admit I know very little about international tracking. I for the life of me can't understand why franchises such as Transformers does so well overseas. I hope I'm wrong and this movie has rave reviews, opens big and has long legs. Like I said, it is my favorite Disney film and I'm very hopeful it will make tons of money. It's just how many tons that I'm unsure of. Cheers!
