I agree with most of that critique but I'm not a big McGregor fan. In Scotland, he is something of a big fish in a small pond. His performances when the opposition is a little more capable than Motherwell, Hamilton or Dundee or when he played for Scotland in Eck's swan song have been "missing in action". He's good when the team is playing well but less so when the "going gets tough". A pet poodle.
