Arya is going to kill Dany. I really hope not. That would make me start hating the Starks, and I'm feeling sorry for Dany. She has become isolated and feels alone now. Edit: that would make for a twist: the Starks become the new Lannnisters - the most hated family in Westeros.

But honestly I don't think it will be Arya, I think Dany will be killed by Jon Snow.

And don't you guys come whining if you clicked on that spoiler thing. It's a real one.

When Jaime left Winterfell, I immediately thought he was going to kill Cersei. I do think he will be the one that does it. (I clicked on your spoiler )

Since were going about that spoiler, there is also a spoiler about the thing I mentioned: Jon kills Dany. While not mentioned on the show, there is an interesting parallel between that happening and the whole Lightbringer prophecy and Azor Ahai.

'Beware the perfumed seneschal' Varys? That's my guess who that line refers to and his 'answer' to Tyrion when he asked 'what happens to her (Daenerys)?' was indicative he might be up to something proactive.

"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention." - Ramsay Snow I'm not really expecting a happy ending, just a satisfying one. I never thought i would dislike anyone from the Stark family, but I do. Sansa was cold to Dany from the get go and if it's true what someone on a post mentioned, maybe Arya wants to kill Dany. Also Bran - what use is he exactly? While people were dying around him, he was off somewhere flying about.

I think she will be killed by Jaime. I have hated her at times over the seasons, except for when she blew up the High Sept (is that his name?). I was rooting for her to do it. She was nothing if not interesting.

I have hated her so much over the seasons, but now I will miss her. She was nothing if not interesting. I loved her from Season 1. I would be sad even if she stays alive on the throne but I had to stop watching and I never got the nerve to even watch her scenes after S6.

I loved her from Season 1. I would be sad even if she stays alive on the throne but I had to stop watching and I never got the nerve to even watch her scenes after S6. Read my edited post. She was the most interesting thing about the show for a long time. Cersei tried everything else before she resorted to her very last option with the High Sparrow. She made a confession and took the "walk of shame", then she accepted the prospect of being put on trial, which is itself another humiliation, banking on Ser Gregor to solve the issue. It was only when she heard of Margaery's own atonement, that she went to the Tyrells with a plan and an alliance proposal. She wasn't doing it for herself at this point, the trigger was the impending humiliation of the present queen. Her motive was political, not personal. Once that resolved itself, she went to Lady Olenna, recognising her faults and begging for help, for an alliance again tothe benefit of their offspring: "You love your granddaughter. I love my son. It's the only truth I know. We must defend them." She was refused. Only when Tommen declared trial by combat illegal and she was left without any information as to what would happen to her in an obviously unfair trial, did she consider the big way out. She was accused of the murder of King Robert and knew Lancel thought her guilty of it, so she was facing the death penalty. There is no holding back at this point. She got Tommen out of danger through the only Kingsguard she could control and had the thing happen at the only moment she could be certain would be effective. The Tyrells were caught in it but she could not risk saving them if she wanted to. I see fools acting as if she had viciously planned the whole thing but it was mere self-defence. I see "good souls" speak of innocents but influential people who decide to attend a political, rigged trial in order to show their support to the new order are not innocent. The Tyrells were, and maybe a few paid helpers, but that's all and, once again, there was no choice. Cersei is the most interesting case study when it comes to analyse how mobs function and how they "judge". The hate for Cersei is a scary thing.

Your post has reminded me of things I had mostly forgotten, though to be honest I was on her side all the way against the High Sparrow.

Your post has reminded me of things I had mostly forgotten, though to be honest I was on her side all the way against the High Sparrow. Most of those who hate her still hated the High Sparrow more. Those who take the time to look at Cersei realise there is very little to hate.
