Question... Seriously... How hard would it have been for Daenerys to fly around behind Euron's fleet and burn it til it sinks?

I saw that scene. One dragon was shot several times and not the other. Why not? Every ship should have had one of these things and both dragons should have been down within a minute. Stupid, shitty contrived writing as ever since the end of S5. There is no point expecting any logic in anything, what happens is what the writers want to show. They don't bother having it make sense, it is mostly consumed by de-cerebrated fools anyway.

There was no reason.
I was thinking they were on a swivel but it seems they were bolted.
Even if they did rotate she needed to buy time for her ships but for some reason she just disappears from the action altogether.

(No regular bolt can develop this range, impact and precision). And heavy machine guns like the Bushmaster M242 (mounted on tanks like the Bradley IV or ships) have an effective range of 3000 meter and a muzzle velocity of 1100 m/s. These bolt covered around 5000 m in less then two seconds. And they trashed this ships like cruise missiles. Absolutely ridiculous.

Where did you get the impression she was 5 Km out? From the footage. That's an error, 5 km is essentially the horizon at sea.

That's an error, 5 km is essentially the horizon at sea. So you don't agree. And you also found is perfectly plausible and give these episodes 10/10. So what?!

And stuck on the gate of King's Landing for all the coming summer.

But makes an appearance, with her dragon, not long after at the gates of KL where they were in shooting distance of the archers. So she trusted Cersei's sense of honour to not fire at them? It would have made perfect sense for Cersei to fire at them, but it seems the directors have thrown sense out of the window.

They show Cersei making a "They're gonna learn when I kill them later to ever doubt my nerve to kill them without a second thought" face... Why did Cersei kill the girl in the first place?... To show that there would be no peace?.. Opening fire and slaughtering all of them where they stand would have had the same effect... with the benefit of the fight actually being over. This is Cersei who blew up the entire Sept to wipe out her enemies... And: Why even go to Cersei at this time?.. Jon wasn't there, yet... He conveniently rode a horse because... reasons. Why show up with half of your forces that just got their asses handed to them in the bay as a show of force?

Why show up with half of your forces that just got their asses handed to them in the bay as a show of force? This show is giving you cheap dramatic scenes and fan gratification without a logical basis. That's why neither Daenerys nor Cersei make sense. Missandei was killed because it was a good shock moment to end an episode, Dothraki were sent to pointless slaughter because it made for a good abrupt change of mood. Bran was set-up as bait in a way that would eat up half the army so they would have an excuse to make a battle episode. None of the shite need make any sense because 95% of those paying to watch it are morons who cannot think that far. That's why I am no longer watching. The broad outline still follows Martin's and this will make sense, so that's still worth looking at but none of the details on the way there are worth considering.
