Who in their right mind thought that was a good idea to do that to the Hulk?

Iron Man was the one who took the stones away from Thanos, something that not even Captain Marvel was able to do.
Of course, if Iron Man using the Infinity Gauntlet to save the day wasn’t good enough for you, keep in mind that Hulk was the one who used the Gauntlet to bring back the people who died in the Snap.
DisneyMarvel Iron Man comes across as the beta male (they tried their best to make RDJ into the alpha but he got more and more beta as the movies progressed--more nerdy). But the point is, the Hulk had a fist fight and was beaten and ran away. Logically, from a story sense, one expects some kind of redemption/resolution for this.
A bully gets his comeuppance or something. They did not do this because from Disney management's POV, any kind of male authority success is bad--and the fact that Stark dies makes sure that he does not really succeed in a traditional heroic sense.
It's like Luke just fading away like a feeb. Audiences expect a certain pattern with stories.
Disney is deliberately avoiding that because they have an agenda to push.
It's even true with their favorite pet Black Panther.
Yes, he beats the other guy in a fight (rare for a Marvel character) but then he says he is opening up Wakanda to the world--a multicultural gesture.
Not as bad as what happened in Asgard though.
The trannies are a-coming (in all senses of the word unfortunately).
I don't detect any sort of SJW or feminist agenda at the center of Hulk's disrespect. So far the best theory I've heard from someone here is that the MCU (and Disney) simply prefers underdogs.
They're fine making Ironman a hero because Tony Stark is simply human, a man who needs to work hard through his intellect to achieve superhero status.
They're fine making Captain America a hero because he's almost always facing opponents with greater powers than him and still keeps fighting despite being the clear underdog.
They're fine making Captain Marvel overpowered because in her story she has apparently always been stepped on and thrown down and now she was finally breaking out.
But guys like Hulk and Thor? They're at the top of the food chain and I don't think they (executives) like that. So they always try to find ways to bring them down. That's why Thor always keeps getting knocked down a few notches in every Avengers movie (I even made a thread about it here: imdb2.freeforums.net/thread/167594/avenger-movies-keep-knocking-thor)
Now Banner, he's an underdog. That's why the movies keep trying to shift more focus on Banner instead of Hulk. Why in Infinity War it was almost purely Banner and in Endgame it's pretty much Banner in Hulk's body.
