Bumgarner has a limited no-trade clause that allows him to block trades to eight teams of his choice. Those teams are the Braves, Red Sox, Cubs, Astros, Brewers, Yankees, Phillies and Cardinals.

SF shouldโve done this earlier when Bumgarnerโs value was higher.
Yanks will be interested, but whether it goes anywhere depends on what SF demands in return. They donโt have a ton of leverage here: This is the last year of Madbumโs contract, heโs only pitched 250 innings the last two years combined due to injuries, and heโs got a 3.99 ERA so far this season.
Bumgarner is 29 years old, turning 30 in August. Heโs got 260 starts and 1,688 innings on his arm.
Iโm sure GMs of contenders are envisioning a Justin Verlanderesque scenario, where a change of scenery and playing for a legit contender will light a fire under his ass and result in him returning to vintage form.
By comparison, Verlander was 34 and had 2,500 innings on his arm when Houston acquired him. Since then heโs gone 27-10 with a 2.36 ERA for the Astros and of course has been a beast for them in the postseason.

Braves fandom has been clamoring for perusing him in free agency next offseason. Apparently he grew up a Braves fan and is from one of the Carolina's or something, guessing South since it's closer to Georgia. However given how frugal AA has been since taking over I don't see the Braves matching a Giants asking price for him. So I will say it'll be the Brewers as I think their biggest need is really a #1 ace pitcher. Yankees apparently aren't that interested in him for some reason, maybe health concerns I guess.

Brewers. They have the pieces to make the deal and heโs the piece that can really help put them over the top if he regains his form.
Yankees are going to sign Keuchel after the draft.

He's waving the no trade clause so he can play with his friend Yasiel.
