sounds like the final season is a disaster , laughing at all the responses online As always, the whining minority shouts the loudest, giving the impression that they are the majority. Most people I know have been enjoying this season.

You quit during arguably the best season?
The Night King half of the season was disappointing, and yet that's not even what has people up in arms. It's that a cold, vicious, dragon riding Joseph Stalin turned out to be a cold, vicious, dragon riding Joseph Stalin. This is from the second highest rated review on IMDb: "You spent 7 seasons building a character up to be merciful, intelligent, and graceful." Are you kidding me?
F"cking morons. The only difference between Dany now and Dany in the past is that the swelling, epic music doesn't play when she's burning people alive.

I thought of quitting after that shitty Mhysa scene. The last three seasons were trash.

Being crushed under the Red Keep slowed me down and gave you the advantage

Mildly disappointing but not a disaster.
I would never recommend quitting in season 3 to avoid disappointment in season 8. But clearly you weren’t happy with the show even in season 3 so I’m really not sure why you’d be happy. Wouldn’t you have been better off quitting in season 1?

It's not a disaster, it's just rushed.

It feels a bit rushed and therefore not always genuine, but I like the actual endpoints for the characters so far for the most part and I enjoy the season. I think it would've been a lot better if both season 7 & 8 would've been 10 episodes and if they kept/brought back some of the writers from seasons 1 - 4 (like they did with Bryan Cogman). And no matter what people think about the later seasons, season 4 easily remains my favorite season and might be my favorite season of any tv show ever made. So maybe, even if you won't watch anymore after that, I'd say try to watch one more season.

F*ck it, he is right. It's a complete disaster. Now I know, some will claim I want a happy ending, no, I want it to make sense.
"Winter is coming," whooops, there it goes, shanked in the bushes. 8 seasons of build up for that?
Danny going mad is rushed, sorry. They needed to do it slowly, not this way.
This season is fn dumb, anyone who watches season 3 and season 8 can't see the difference.....yikes...

Danny going mad is rushed, sorry. They needed to do it slowly, not this way. They delayed it for shock value, toned it down so the idiots wouldn't see it and the rest would keep asking themselves if it would really happen. So when it came, it felt like a jack out of a box. Daenerys should have been an open tyrant since she burned the Khals.

The ones who were debating whether to sell her, enslave her, or pass her around between themselves, their men, and their horses. They were the real heroes.

I don't think it's a disaster but it's certainly not up to par with how the show should be. It is rushed and I think that's leading to some terrible writing. But it's still the most watchable television program on TV right now.

sounds like the final season is a disaster , laughing at all the responses online Oh shut up. This show has been excellent all the way through. Even with the rushed writing of this and last season, still some of the best TV ever produced. EVER.

But it's still the most watchable television program on TV right now. I don't believe that. If I did, it still wouldn't be an excuse to swallow crap. I don't watch TV shows with any regularity, but I saw The Last Kingdom, The White Queen, part of Rome, War & Peace (2016) in recent years and none of them had any of the egregious faults I saw in GoT S6. This has turned to serious fool pleasing junk. Yes, I also saw Westworld and that was the same kind of terrible, while trying to look smart on top. I think it's become an HBO thing. They know they can catch that sort of audience.
