A lot of dislikes. Part of that is obviously because of the “when it fits a woman” and “I’m not letting a man take credit for a woman’s work” lines (which were definitely eye roll inducing, but that’s the CW for you), but going by the comments, a few people complained about...other stuff that they have no reason to complain about. I don’t know if that represents a large portion of the dislikes, but it does go to show that YouTube comments are pure cancer.

Not a fan. "Batman gave up on us so we need another hero." I find that kind of depressing. Not to mention it comes off kind of corny with the entire, "It'll be perfection when it's made for a woman." And the lesbian edginess. Ugh.

But people (okay the wannabe incels) cannot be gnashing their teeth about this same as they did with Ghostbusters: Answer the Call this time. At least Batwoman is an established character in the source material.

The level of cringe with this trailer is "OVER 9,0000!" Just really, really, badly put together and trying to score so many 'woke' points. Series might be okay but whoever edited that trailer is going to be fired I guarantee it...

Not sexist, right??? The whole trailer reeks of hard left, social justice, feminism and LGBT pandering. The main character is unlikable, and the whole premise pisses on the Bat Man legacy which comic nerds are notoriously sensitive about. Whoever put that trailer together to sell the product should be fired! Their ham fisted handling of the whole thing has alienated a lot of the core fan base and they will be lucky if it makes it past 1 season!
How did anyone making that trailer think that would fly with the comic fandom? Calling everyone trolls for criticizing it doesn't work anymore!

Probably, I think general interest in all things Arrowverse will be over once Arrow is finished this year with Crisis.
