I didn’t even know it was out yet. It was just released last week. Looks like it’s only on Digital. I’m actually waiting on the home video releases to watch it.

Batman only thinks they are bad guys for about the first 15 minutes of the movie and then realizes they are actually good guys. It should have been titled "Batman AND Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

TV Series:
Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (1987-1996) - 9/10 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003-2009) - 9/10
Movies:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) - 10/10 Turtles Forever (2009) - 9/10 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III - 8/10 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze - 8/10 TMNT (2007) - 3/10
The '87 series was my favourite show back in the late 80s and early 90s. In fact, it wasn't simply a TV show, it was a phenomenon. I do think the 2003 series was better constructed and had much stronger character arcs, however. Lesser soundtrack, however.

I re-watched the first couple seasons a couple years ago and they are still very entertaining and charming and that isn't the nostalgia talking either. I use to love Secret of the Ooze when I was a kid, but that movie does not hold up at all imo.

And the soundtrack is fantastic. The 2003 series is more mature, however, and that appeals to me as an adult viewer. It's basically a bit more like Batman: The Animated Series tonally. As for The Secret of the Ooze - I like it, but it's always going to be overshadowed the the far superior 1990 movie. That was such a gritty slice of cinema, very much influenced by the darker tone of the original comics. Turtles II was very much piggy-backing on its success and narrative. I appreciate how Turtles III took a completely different approach, notwithstanding some of the faults of that movie.

That movie is just too childish for me and doesn't really make sense being a sequel to the gritty 1990 movie. I hate the Vanilla Ice dance sequence. HATE IT!!!

I'm neutral on the Vanilla Ice sequence. The Super Shredder thing comes across as really silly now though.

I'm neutral on the Vanilla Ice sequence. The Super Shredder thing comes across as really silly now though. I use to love that part. I did too, but the appeal wore off. I prefer the more grounded Shredder of the 1990 film.

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 8/10 2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Secret of the Ooze - 8/10 3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows - 5/10 4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 - 5/10 5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) - 2/10
I grew up in the early 90s so I had lots of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stuff. I grew up with the first 3 films but never was a fan of 3.
The 2014 redo is lame but at least Out of the Shadows was a little fun. Nothing great though.
Have not seen TMNT.
