I started this tournament because we all kept listing our own ranking system of the MCU movies and I was curious what would happen if we compiled all our ratings. It took some time to complete the tournament but it's finally finished, and I can say the results are pretty interesting. Some I expected, some were complete surprises, others I completely disagreed with. Still, I do think it's a pretty decent list.
Regardless, here is our official MCU ranking based on your votes:
1st: Avengers: Infinity War (21 points)
2nd: Avengers: Endgame (19.8 points)
3rd: CA: The Winter Soldier (19.5 points)
4th: The Avengers (18 points)
5th: GOTG (16.3 points)
6th: Thor: Ragarok (16 points)
7th: CA: Civil War (15.5 points)
8th: Ironman (14.5 points)
9th: Black Panther (12 points)
10th: Avengers: AOU (11.5 points)
11th: GOTG2 (10.3 points)
12th: Spiderman HC (10 points)
13th: CA: The First Avenger (9.5 points)
14th: Antman (8.5 points)
15th: Dr. Strange (8 points)
16th: Antman & the Wasp (6 points)
17th: Thor (5 points)
18th: Captain Marvel (4.5 points)

22nd: The Incredible Hulk (0 points)
When I get time later or tomorrow I'll make a more detailed post regarding their statistics (like who beat who, etc.). In the future when we get new MCU movies, it will be easy for me to set up a ranking tournament for that movie to figure out where it places in this list.

Using the numbers above, we can also finally decide which of the 3 main Avengers had the best trilogy. The answer is:
1. Captain America (44.5 total points)
2. Thor (23 total points)
3. Ironman (18.5 total points)

Neat.
I voted for Ragnarok over Guardians of the Galaxy but I'm not upset to see the latter prevail. Looks pretty well-rounded. I really like Thor Ragnarok; the entire movie hit the ground sprinting for me, but it's very comfortable in its place in the series (which I think is why I gave it the edge, my appreciation of it is almost selfish because I make no qualms about it being setup by the other films). Guardians of the Galaxy on the other hand was the first of its kind in its own franchise and one of the riskier ventures. They made a raccoon and a tree that says 3 words work; that's skill.
I personally liked Ironman 3 more than the results show, but that's more to personal taste than swearing up and down it's better than what outranks it. All in all, cool stuff.

Interesting results there. I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but Endgame at second? Really? I really think a lot of people are overrating it.

I know right? personally it might not even have made my top 5, definitely not my top 3. But oh well, guess others loved it more than I did. It completely stomped Avengers, Civil War and GOTG in their respective matchups. |

I already miss voting. Incredible Hulk with zero points is rather sad, what a legacy that film walks.
Substitute Winter Soldier & Black Panther with First Avenger & Ant-Man, & that's my 10 (not same order).

Can't really argue much with the films that made the top ten, though I'd move some titles around. I'd put IM 3 in the top ten over BP. I guess it's only fair TIH got zero points as it's barely an MCU film, anyway. Interesting to see Ant-Man as a consensus 2nd tier film. That's where I'd put it but I didn't realize it was as popular with everyone else. I still think the three worst Marvel movies are TIH and the first two Thor films.

The deck was stacked against it (as much as the deck can be stacked against a MCU flick) from the beginning, I still can't believe it made $1B at the box office. I thought it was enjoyable and I'd have it higher on the list, but that's probably because I appreciate the character (from the comics, which affects my enjoyment of the films) more than Doctor Strange for example. As you get into the lower-middle to bottom tier films you're really splitting hairs, anyway. None of the MCU movies are particularly bad in my opinion (nothing below a 4/10 for me, which is the low end of average), so it's all about the little things the film does for you.

Forgot to vote the last few rounds. I'd move Endgame and Avengers down to the middle 8 and replace them with Antman and First Avenger. I'd then move Ultron and Spiderman down to the bottom 7 and replace them with Wasp and Thor. I'd also move Panther down closer to the bottom of the middle 8.
Good effort, really liked this idea. Can't wait for similar polls for DCU, non-MCU and non-DCU movies.

The Incredible Hulk is pretty underrated. I way prefer it over IM2.
There looks to be a lot more love for TWS after all. I still prefer CW but it’s close.

I too agree with the lack of surprise over Captain Marvel. For me, what played so heavily into its gravity was the impending confrontation between her and Thanos in Endgame. It has a lot to do with the time of its release. It's harder to justify since it's mostly in my head, but the snap occurred, and that in combination with her postured stance in the posters implied her as a last line of defense.
It's definitely bolstered by its position in the series, which seems redundant because they all are, but it's definitely a phase 1 film with phase 3 stakes looming over it. It almost plays like a sneak preview of their ace in the hole at saving the universe.
I didn't mind it. My knowledge of Captain Marvel really just comes from the one episode of the X-Men animated series that delves into Rogue's past.

Ant-Man is in my top 10. A&W just above the IM & Thor sequels as least. I do think Ant-Man's MCU legacy has been helped by his role in Endgame. It does help payoff the character who was first introduced right after Age of Ulton & what many wondered why at all ever.
