With Peter in a suit Jacket and MJ in a dress this might be the closest to the "She's All That" take the "ugly" main characters pony tail off to make her hot moment.

I think that scene already happened at the end of Homecoming. The entire movie had him going after Liz. At the same time, you had MJ with a bad attitude to make Liz the more desirable girl. She was obviously pretty the entire time. The change happened when MJ dropped the act and became more desirable to Peter. This movie looks more like them having a crush on each other. So they are past the "ugly girl is actually hot" stage.
