I think both movies come out this week and yet there hasn't been much hype for either of them. Any of you plan on seeing either of them?
I think next week has that Child's Play remake come out.

Saw an ad for Shaft last night, and I thought to myself "Wow, there is absolutely no buzz on this thing, I had no clue it was opening this week." I MIGHT give it a look on home video, but I won't see it in a theater. I'm undecided on MIB: International; I'll likely wait for the Cinemascore and it that's decent, see it on $5.00 Tuesday.

Might see MIB: International. This Shaft requel doesn't have Peoples Hernandez in it so that's a big NO for me. Jeffrey Wright made the 2000 movie watchable.

I'll be seeing Men In Black International on Saturday. I haven't even seen the 2000 version of Shaft yet so I won't see the sequel anytime soon. I'm sure neither of them are as good as the original trilogy from the 70's. The sequel coming out this week has had almost zero promotion.

33% on rotten tomatoes as of this post. www.rottentomatoes.com/m/men_in_black_international/Critics Consensus
Amiable yet forgettable, MiB International grinds its stars' substantial chemistry through the gears of a franchise running low on reasons to continue.

I had free tickets for both. Had to work during Shaft and just didn't want to drive across town for MiB which looks kinda sh*tty.
