I doubt many of y'all have ever opened a book. Soccer teams would have been more appropriate, right?

This looks like fun, I would probably get lost - London is such a huge city, it made Chicago look like a village.

Cool.
I would have guessed 'The Canterbury Tales' took place in Canterbury, not in London.

Cool. I would have guessed 'The Canterbury Tales' took place in Canterbury, not in London. That station's in Southwark, home of the Tabard pub or inn, where the tale-teller of the best story gets to eat their prize - a free dinner. The stories are narrated on a train journey between London and Canterbury and back again. I've forgotten all the tales, though.

Shows how much I know about it. I must have been thinking of a different book.

My first reaction really was one of doubting myself, but after posting my reply I thought "no, I am not wrong, it IS a centuries-old book" so I checked. I was going to edit my post but it ended up slipping my mind.

No worries, it is the sort of joke I might have made myself.
