I listen to everything he puts out and there's usually 3 or 4 decent tracks ( his two French crooning albums aside). Enjoyed this one but I don't see him live anymore. After seeing the Stooges reform and the Fun House tour I felt I'd gone full circle.

Well obviously I put the Stooges above all else but from the solo albums, Lust for Life and The idiot, obviously. TV Eye live (not for the awful recording quality but for the fun I had spending a year locating a second copy in the early 1980's) I loved Blah, Blah Blah for the crooning when it came out although I don't think it's aged well. (great track "shades" on there) Brick By Brick is very good,American Ceasar and Avenue B stand out and then Post Pop Depression is probably his best this century. Lust For Life is the one I'd take to a desert Island though.

I've never been a huge fan of his solo stuff, but it is pretty good. His best for quite a long time. Have you heard his recent collaborations with Underworld and a plinky plonky jazz trio whose name escapes me right now? Both worth a listen, I felt. no noghbad. will give it a try.
