As I wrote in another thread:
Now 1 MCU fan responded with the claim that:
That is the dumbest comment ever and clearly proves that many MCU fans just don't understand it. Some MCU fans have been begging me to explain it to them. I was going to explain why Endgame's winning scenario is flawed and why MCU fans here don't understand it. But that thread was locked.
The explanation is really simple and it's just incredible that many MCU fans still don't understand it. So I shall try to explain it slowly here on this thread.
Past Nebula shares memories with future Nebula in 2023. And I'm not making that up. That was shown in Endgame. So does everyone agree that past Nebula shares memories with future Nebula in 2023?
So the question is how far ahead can past Nebula access future Nebula's memories? Is there a barrier at which future Nebula's memories can't be accessed by past Nebula. For example, can past Nebula access future Nebula's memories only up to 9 pm on April 25, 2023 so anything that future Nebula experiences at 11 pm on April 25, 2023 can't be accessed by past Nebula?
The answer is obviously NO. Past Nebula can access all of 2023 Nebula's memories and 2024 Nebula's memories and 2025 Nebula's memories and 2030 Nebula's memories and 2035 Nebula's memories and future Nebula's to the end of Nebula's existence.
We the audience in 2019 can only see 2023 Nebula's experiences linearly so halfway through Endgame we can't see 2023 Nebula being present to see past Thanos travel to the future with his army and get defeated by Iron Man taking the stones from past Thanos and we have to sit through about another hour of Endgame before we can see that. Similarly, we the audience in 2019 can't see Nebula's future experiences in the next GotG movie until the next GotG movie is released.
But past Nebula doesn't have to see future Nebula's experiences linearly. Past Nebula doesn't have to wait an hour to access 2023 future Nebula's memories of past Thanos traveling to the future with his army and getting defeated by Iron Man taking the stones from past Thanos. And past Nebula doesn't have to wait until the next GotG movie to see future Nebula's memories of her experiences in the next GotG movie.
Past Nebula can access all of 2023 Nebula's memories and 2024 Nebula's memories and 2025 Nebula's memories and 2030 Nebula's memories and 2035 Nebula's memories and future Nebula's to the end of Nebula's existence. So that means, halfway through Endgame past Nebula can already access 2023 Nebula's memories of past Thanos traveling to the future with his army and getting defeated by Iron Man taking the stones from past Thanos. And that means, halfway through Endgame, Thanos already knows exactly what would happen if he and his army traveled to 2023.
So instead of traveling to 2023, Thanos should've just traveled to 2018 and killed Tony Stark right after Strange gave the time stone to 2018 Thanos. Then Tony Stark wouldn't have been alive in 2023 to take the gauntlet off Thanos' hand.
Like I said before, so as long as 2023 Nebula is alive, then Strange's so-called "winning" scenario actually has no chance at all of winning because past Thanos would know everything that happens in 2023 since past Nebula has all of 2023 Nebula's memories. Strange's scenario would only work if the Avengers had killed 2023 Nebula before Tony Stark took the gauntlet off Thanos' hand in 2023.
Therefore, Strange's so-called "winning" scenario isn't a winning scenario at all but actually a losing scenario. So like I said before, this is just awful writing and a huge plothole in Endgame.

Past Nebula can access all of 2023 Nebula's memories and 2024 Mebula's memories and 2025 Nebula's memories and 2030 Nebula's memories and 2035 Nebula's memories and future Nebula's to the end of Nebula's existence. I don't know who 2024 Mebula is but the rest of that sentence is definitely false. Past Nebula can't access memories of any other version of Nebula unless they're in the same timeline. Otherwise every Nebula would know everything the most distant future Nebula knows...duh!
edit ok just to explain why this is so stupid... if every Nebula could access every future Nebula's memories regardless of the fact that they're in different timelines, then Nebula in GotG1 would have known everything that she was going to see and experience in that whole movie, and in GotG2, and Infinity War and Endgame... information needs a medium to travel through time.
So I shall try to explain it slowly here on this thread. Looked like the same speed as all your other garbage. You lose. Again.

Past Nebula can't access memories of any other version of Nebula unless they're in the same timeline. And Endgame already established that past Nebula and 2023 Nebula are in the same timeline, which is why past Nebula can access 2023 Nebula's memories. And since past Nebula can access 2023 Nebula's memories, then past Nebula can access 2023 Nebula's memories at the end of Endgame just as easily as 2023 Nebula's memories halfway through Endgame. Because past Nebula isn't restricted to accessing 2023 Nebula's memories linearly and can access those memories at any point in time and in any order. And since past Nebula has access to all of 2023 Nebula's memories, that means past Nebula knows about past Thanos traveling with his entire army to 2023 and getting defeated by Iron Man taking the stones from past Thanos. So that means Thanos also knows about it and therefore Thanos wouldn't travel to 2023 and instead would just travel to 2018 and kill Tony Stark right after Strange gives 2018 Thanos the time stone. So like I said, Strange's so-called "winning" scenario isn't a winning scenario at all but actually a losing scenario because Thanos would already have all the information he needs to ensure Strange's scenario never happens. That's a HUGE PLOTHOLE in Endgame.

When 2023 Nebula goes back in time she doesn't have the memory of Tony's snap or of Thanos traveling forward in time because those things hadn't happened yet. You still haven't seen the movie have you...

That's a HUGE PLOTHOLE in Endgame. No stupid 2014 Nebula can only access 2023 Nebula's current memories due to their cybernetic components creating a bridge between them, she cannot access any memories though that 2023 Nebula does not currently have however, so 2014 Nebula cannot learn anything from 2023 Nebula's future because 2023 Nebula does not know the future, and their link is broken before the end of the battle when 2023 Nebula kills 2014 Nebula and then 2023 Nebula never time travels again meaning she would not share her memories involuntarily with another past version of herself.
Where you pulled this crap out is beyond me, it's just like a computer because of them sharing cybernetic components it allows Nebula & Thanos remote access to her memories, like if you give someone remote access to your PC, then they can do stuff to your computer, they can see what you have done by reading your logs and stuff and see what is on it, but they cannot however see what you are going to do on the PC 6 hours from now or 2 weeks from now because that's not happened yet, Nebula's memories are the future to them but the past to her hence how they can see her memories, it's not a difficult concept to understand for someone with a functioning brain...oh yeah forgot who I was talking to.
The future isn't set it's malleable even for the possessor of the time stone, this is why Strange could see the various scenarios that could play out, so even if Thanos could access the memories of other Nebula's not just 2023's it wouldn't help him due to he sheer number of possible futures he would be seeing.
Once again you explain nothing and dribbled shit all over this nice board, shame on you sir SHAME!!

One more thing. A message to everyone: We often wonder whether he's trolling or he's just plain stupid. And the answer is both. He thinks he's trolling, but in reality he's a total imbecile. Threads like this prove it. The guy who once said Captain America is more powerful than Hulk wants to pat himself on the back despite being dead wrong AGAIN. Wow.

WOW! You still don't understand it! I'll try to make it really simple for you. In BBTF, Marty travels to 1885, 1955, and 2015. So let's take 1955. 1985 is the future of 1955. Do you understand that so far? 2015 is also the future of 1955. Do you understand that so far? So 1985 and 2015 are both futures of 1955. Can Marty use the time machine to travel from 1955 to 1985? YES. Can Marty use the time machine to travel from 1955 to 2015? Well, that wasn't shown in the movie, but there's no reason why Marty can't do that. Because 1985 and 2015 both just future points in time relative to 1955. Likewise, there's no reason why past Nebula can access 2023 Nebula's memories up to a certain point in time but can't access 2023 Nebula's memories 1 hour later. Because both memories are just future points in time to past Nebula. Do you understand that?
Today is Wednesday. We don't know what's going to happen on Saturday until we go through Thursday and Friday to get to Saturday. Because we have to go through time linearly. Nebula doesn't have to go through time linearly. Nebula would know exactly what happens on Saturday without having to go through Thursday and Friday. Nebula would also know exactly what happens on Sunday or Monday without having to go through Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. No you moronic cunt YOU do not understand that all past Nebula has access to is current Nebula's memories, to simplify things for you their link is a P2P connection, so long as future Nebula has the memories past Nebula can access them, but she cannot access memories no in the current Nebula's memory banks, same as how when you torrent the low quality cam rip of every MCU movie you can only do so from people with said low quality cam files on their systems, you cannot download the cheap Far From Home cam video yet because it isn't uploaded yet because it hasn't been recorded yet illegally because the fucking movie hasn't been fucking released yet.
No shut the fuck up you stupid fucking wanker.

None of this nonsense you just spewed suggests that any version of Nebula could know about Tony's snap before it happened.
When 2023 Nebula goes back in time she doesn't have the memory of Tony's snap or of Thanos traveling forward in time because those things hadn't happened yet. You still haven't seen the movie have you...
2023 Nebula can't remember something she hasn't seen or heard about yet. Past Nebula can't access memories that don't exist.
Information - like knowledge of the Avengers' plan or Tony's snap - can travel across space - like from one planet to another - via a Wifi network or whatever they have. But it can't travel across time. It needs to be in a vessel to go from one timeline to another - like Nebula's synaptic drive. But for one Nebula to access another Nebula's synaptic drive, and I'll say this slowly for you, tHeY hAvE tO bE iN tHe SaMe TiMe. 2023 Nebula time traveled before she saw or heard about Tony's snap, thus her synaptic drive didn't have that information, thus it didn't travel through time, thus there is no way past Nebula could have learned about it.

Does DC-Fan even bother to defend DC movies anymore? Or does he just put all of his limited mental ability into making up attacks on the MCU?
It was funny that he said that "Dark Phoenix" failed with critics because it didn't have a bunch of jokes like the MCU movies but he failed to mention that "Aquaman" and "Shazam!" both have as much humor as the average MCU movie.

WOW! You still don't understand it! Those memories already exist. They don't exist for you yet until 1 hour later because you're watching the movie sequentially from start to finish. But past Nebula can access those memories at any time because those are just future points in time. I'll try to explain it to you even more slowly. It's like watching a movie in a theater vs watching a movie on DVD. In a theater, you have to watch a movie sequentially from start to finish so when you're watching a movie for the 1st time in a theater (and you haven't read or heard any spoilers), you don't know what happens in the last 30 minutes of the movie until you've watched the movie from start to finish. But when watching a movie on DVD, you can jump to any scene at any point in the movie. You have access to any scene at any point in the movie. That's the same with 2023 Nebula's memories. Past Nebula has access to all of 2023 Nebula's memories and can jump to any point in 2023 Nebula's memories. So like I said, past Nebula already knows about past Thanos traveling to 2023 with his entire army and getting defeated by Iron Man taking the stones from past Thanos. So that means past Thanos already knows it too and therefore past Thanos wouldn't travel to 2023 and instead just travel to 2018 and kill Tony Stark right after Strange gives Thanos the time stone in 2018.
