But no one else? Spider Man already has super strength, can shoot webs, climb walls, has spider-sense and is super fast. In the comics he's pretty powerful.....so what's the point of giving him a super suit?
I get that he wanted to "protect" Spider Man because he was so young.....but he gives Spider Man a super suit while guys like the Falcon, Capt America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Winter soldier etc.....have nothing? I mean Falcon has his wings but nothing else.......why not give him a full on super suit? Capt A is the peak of human physical ability....but not super human....why not give him a super suit? Black Widow and Hawkeye.......why not give them a super suit? Winter Soldier has.....well.....I guess he's got that robot arm......but why not give him a super suit?
That's one of my main problems with the MCU. Iron Man has all kinds of "iron droids" as seen in other movies. He could just field his own team made up of Iron Men.
Why would the Avengers need someone like Hawkeye or Black Widow when Iron Man could just call in a squad of Iron Man robots? And why would he give EVEN MORE power to Spider Man but not the weakest members of the team?

Are you referring to the Iron Spider suit or his normal suit from Homecoming & Civil War?
Civil War my guess is because it was a means of protecting him as well as monitoring him, it was meant to unlock more gadgets and weapons as Peter proved himself, with a built in failsafe to protect him with the instant kill mode.
Iron Spider because it was meant as a gift when he joined the Avengers because he's still just a kid and he would be facing bigger threats so would need more protection, unlike the others, well except for Wanda and not offering her a suit makes sense given the history, everyone else is not only an adult but a defined hero before Tony meets them, and who is to say Tony didn't upgrade them all, he just didn't give them suits, which maybe by choice, in the animated shows Cap doesn't like relying on too much tech, his skills are his best asset.
Only one to use a suit that made sense was Banner in IW because Hulk wouldn't fight so he donned the Hulkbuster armour because without it he was useless.
In AOU Tony says he designs and pays for everything that they use, but nobody goes asking for a suit, even when facing Ultron, so presumably they prefer fighting their own way, also too many suits makes it too samey, and then you need to do the exact same in the helmet look to show the actors face so why bother?
Could have been an interesting idea though at one point for Tony to have made them all suits just incase, then they get blown up or something before they could use them just as a nod to this sort of question.

Yes I’d have to agree with dazz. My first thought when reading the question was that the other Avengers simply don’t want a suit. Cap is old school and seems to care very little for 21st century tech, then Black Widow and Hawkeye seem to be accustomed to doing things the way they know. Tony is protective over Spidey so he made him a suit.
Also he MIGHT have made everybody a suit. He had that space Spider-Man suit in storage somewhere. It’s possible there are suits for everybody.
The Iron Droids poses an interesting questions though. The Avengers only seem to use them as some kind of crowd control. They could probably find a more effective use for them.

The Iron Spider suit was from the comics where Iron Man also created the suit for him there too. So they're just going what the comics did in that regard.

Winter Soldier was also cnsidered a fugitive and hidden away in Wakanda.
When and why would Stark have spent time & money improving their abilities?

Because he's a child, and the suits were meant to give Tony the ability to monitor him whilst also protecting Peter.
Also he probably did upgrade everyone else just to the amount they desired, as I doubt Falcon created Redwing, seems more a Tony thing.

Yeah, he really upgraded Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain America, and the Falcon. Captain America...who has normal strength and is just a normal man that's in peak physical condition......has....a shield.
Black Widow has......guns.....I guess?
Hawkeye.....well he does have that nifty bow and arrow.
Definitely makes sense to give a guy who is already super humanly strong and fast a super suit. I mean....Hawkeye is great and all but he might have been a little more useful if he'd have had something besides a bow and arrow. Black Widow is great if you're fighting a burglar or a normal soldier or something but she'd be totally useless against Thanos or his super-soldiers.
If Stark was that worried about the "kid" he wouldn't have him out there risking his life in the first place.
Why give a guy who is already incredibly powerful something to make him more powerful but not the weakest members of the team? Just silly.

Peter Parker MCU is just a kid off the streets of Queens. He can barely tie his own shoes. Stark recruited him into the Avengers realm & surely, absolutely, wanted to protect him at all costs - even if the Stark tech Spidey suit is doing things that Peter doesn't even recognize. End of the day, Tony has this kid under his wing & no one in Peter's life knows about it. Maybe down the road, Peter finally ditches the Stark tech, maybe when he graduates high school. Until then, his super suit can save his life while he's learning how to tie shoe laces. Savvy?

OK, yeah that makes sense.
Also he's a "kid" who is incredibly strong, fast and intelligent. Much stronger and faster than Hawkeye, Captain America, Black Widow, Falcon, probably Winter Soldier but I don't know much about him......he seems like a normal dude with a robot arm though.
Definitely explains why Stark wouldn't have built suits for the weaker Avengers. But what would a guy with a bow and arrow need with a super suit, right?

For one thing Cap in the MCU is superhuman, he's not just peak human conditioning but superhuman, he can lift upwards of like 3000lbs and run well above 30mphs both feats being well above normal humans peaks.
And again he could of upgraded them to their specifications, Cap has the magnetic gauntlet to help him bring the shield back and hold it without him needing to consciously do so, otherwise Cap like I said in the animated shows doesn't like relying on tech to much, and I do not see this as something movie Cap wouldn't also feel.
Widow & Hawkeye's weapons could be upgraded significantly, Hawkeye could have dozens of nifty trick arrows Stark designed for him, or Stark could have created whole new sort of stuff Clint just didn't want like collapsible arrows which would allow Clint to carry 2 to 3 times as many arrows, aim assisted bows, which Clint as a finely tuned archer may have disliked because that level of upgrade fucks with his ability to do his work.
Same for Natasha her wrist devices Tony could have tricked out but to the level she would be like wtf no, and Natasha's whole thing is how versatile she is, she makes do with what she has, she's also sneaky and except when facing down say a Thanos one of her strengths is how unassuming she looks, which is also part of the Black Widow program they are meant to be deceptively deadly, you put her in a suit of armour that can fly and has lasers and rockets all over it and no one is going to assume she's not a deadly threat.
And Tony doesn't want him out risking his life or did you not catch that? Peter was catching cars and stopping thugs in a hoody and googles long before Tony came to him, he recruited Peter for the mission in Germany where he knew none of Cap's team would be trying to kill anyone, the moment Peter got hurt Tony benched him because he was scared that something bad could happen, then Tony tells him to keep the suit and just be the neighbourhood Spiderman and don't worry about the big stuff, basically Tony knew he couldn't stop Peter doing what he was already doing so he gave himself a way to help protect him whilst also monitor him, when Peter went outside the bounds Tony expected from him he tried to push him back away from the danger, Tony only eventually is willing to bring him on board because Peter showed he wasn't going to not be a hero and fighting supervillains at which point Tony unveils the Iron Spider costume which is even more armoured and this is when Peter is going to get backup by the Avengers, he doesn't bring Peter to space Peter brings himself after Tony tries to get him to safety, it's all a case of Tony knows Peter is going put himself at risk so he tries to protect him, because he is a child the others are not.
And for all we know all their outfits are made of cutting edge ultra light weight but better than military grade body armour, but all the other advancements may simple be down to what they are and aren't willing to use based on their personal preferences, given that in Homecoming Happy is heard talking about Cap's new shield and other stuff, Tony likely has made a bunch of stuff they just choose not to use.

Yet....he recruited him to fight. Strange.
And "aren't willing to use based on their personal preference"? That's a convenient excuse. Maybe he did make them super suits but they just didn't like the colors and were unwilling to wear them based on "personal preference" right? I mean, who knows? Maybe their super suits were at the cleaners every time we saw the characters in the movie? Maybe Black Widow and Hawkeye are just Amish?

I think it boils down to Sony enabling Spider-Man into the MCU & thus why wouldn't Tony Stark enable the kid to be as safe & strong as possible. He was recruited to toy around at the CW airport melee. And? It was Peter's own choice to dive deeper.
I'm bored now.
Clint is a grown ass man who probably wouldn't want anything beyond super tech arrows. He walked out twice on the Avengers - returning for CW with the accords at stake & again only after his entire family was Thanos'd.

The Iron Spider suit is from the comics. Regardless of whether or not he needed it, they wanted to use it in the film to honor that as well as bring something new to the character that hasn't been seen before on screen. Sure, it's fan service, but it serves a purpose as well and was likely their only chance to take advantage of it since this was Stark's last appearance (at least for the foreseeable future).
