That will be okay if the movie is good and receives decent reviews. But if it sucks as much balls as the other DCEU movies.............uh, oh!

The movie is said to have a $120 million production budget. Those numbers would be fine.

After they have marketed the movie to death like they usually do, it will need $500 million for a pass. Like I said, if the movie is well reviewed with good word of mouth, it should manage $500 million off an $80 million domestic opening weekend. If it stinks like the 3 previous movies have then it will sink without a trace with a 65%+ drop off from those numbers.

Even if the production budget is $150 million, Im pretty sure it wouldn't need $500 million to break even. Somewhere in the $400 million range would be more likely.

WW needs to do more than break even though. Dr. Strange opened to around $85M and made $600M worldwide. WW needs to make somewhere around that and get a decent RT score. I like the trailers and think it has a good chance to be both a critical and commercial success.

It looks good, but I'm just not feeling the hype. I have a feeling that's exactly how every casual movie fan will feel as well and this movie won't exactly soar to box office immortality. I hope I'm wrong though.

I think DCEU is doing financially well, so there should be no exception for WW. We should have solid number for opening esp as a summer blockbuster.
