Now we're getting a life tribute to 'Bob Ley'
FYI FOLKS - this guy didn't die - he's just 'retiring' - would pretty much just host 'Outside the Lines' on Sunday Mornings - which nobody watched.
It's officially 6:08 EST standard time.
And this horsesh*t is still going on.
Can you please tell me where Jimmy Butler is going? Kemba perhaps?
Nobody gives a sh*t about this dusty old Mummy

What's with all the girls' soccer love?
And St. Louis with the endless cheering for Pujols? Think they'd have been all lovey if he'd had 2 or 3 titles for the Angels? Probably, since they cheered him homering against the home team in a close game.

I'm rather upset my typical broadcasting of '1st Things First' with Carter/Wright and 'The Herd' with Colin Cowherd has been disrupted over the last month of this nonsense.

Listened to the Herd a couple of times on Iheart when Colin was on. Gottlieb, no.

Listened to the Herd a couple of times on Iheart when Colin was on. Gottlieb, no. I can listen to Gottlieb talk hoops for eons - but other than that - he's useless - kind of like Jalen and Beadle - which is why I think they just sporadically appear on ESPN's 'Get UP' when initially they were supposed to be co-hosts with Greeny.
I mean - I get the MLB and NHL are rarely talked about on these shows - if ever - but you've got to at least bring some NFL knowledge to the table.

I like Gottlieb as a guest, but not as host. Also hate that Cowherd never talks hockey unless he needs it to make an anecdotal point.

I like this new cute chick co-host too - she's like 'girl next door' cute - reminds me of the chubby broad from the Jerry Maguire movie.

Probably, since they cheered him homering against the home team in a close game. That I can definitely see. Pujols gave those fans a decade's worth of awesome moments during his HOF career, including 2 championships. He deserves those cheers and even if he'd gone on to win a title or two with Anaheim, he'd still get that type of response.

When they gave him a standing ovation after the homer and the camera panned to his wife in the crowd with tears in her eyes - I actually got choked up. It was a very classy move by the city of St. Louis and their fans when in today's age - a lot of fans/cities will sh*t all over a player for taking more money to better their family (i.e. see these classless imbred mongoloids in D.C. with Brycie)

First game back, tribute video, first at bat or two, and maybe likely final at bat I can see. All three games, all at bats, the ovation level for the home run, no. Baseball is a zero-sum game, and he's out there to try to hurt your team. Hav?e you ever seen a love-fest to that level for that duration, while a player is trying to beat your team? Have to wonder how much LaRussa would have enjoyed that had he been the Cards manager.

There's really not much going on - their fans even travel here to take over bars.
how many times can you go travel to see that 'Arch'. country is football and NFL thirsty and they've been given the Rams and Cards - and can't hold onto anybody

Have to wonder how much LaRussa would have enjoyed that had he been the Cards manager. I thought the HR was in the first game? I hear you, not sure it's that cut and dried necessarily given a player of Pujols' stature and what he did for that organization but I see your point. If someone stupid like So Taguchi who sucked but otherwise had a great playoff run in 2006 came back, he wouldn't get that type of response beyond his first AB. Not quite the same, but when Daniel Murphy came back to Citi Field for his first game as a Natinal he received a hero's welcome. After that, he'd get a smattering of cheers and when he'd a HR or do some damage, he didn't get cheered at all. Again, not the player that Pujols was but Murphy was downright Ruthian in the 2015 NLDS and NLCS. A handful of years ago, when Mike Piazza was a member of the Padres, he was playing at Shea and by this point he had played a number of games for opposing teams at Shea and he'd always get a warm reception. But this one particular game, I remember he hit 2 solo home runs, both of which resulted in standing ovations from the Met faithful. Then in the 8th or 9th, hit a shot to the warning track that nearly tied the game and when it was caught, he got another rousing ovation. Tough to say what type of ovation he would have received if that ball traveled 10 more feet, but this is more akin to what happened with Pujols and the Cards fans.

It's June. There is nothing to talk about. They've already dedicated 1000 hours to where each NBA free agent is going, especially, incessantly, Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard. They've been talking about it with Leonard since he was traded TO Toronto. I have no problem with doing a piece on Ley - - he joined ESPN when he was 24. No other original anchor is left, and it's down to a handful of commentators (Dick Vitale, Cliff Drysdale, and a few others). He deserves a big send off. I don't need Woj to tell me something about Kawhi that he's going to change up another dozen times before next week.

Even the commissioner NBA recognizes there is way too much NBA - - and nobody cares about the regular season. I will agree that thinking about where a player is going is more exciting than an NBA game in November . . . or December . . . or January . . . or February . . . or . . .
