As I am sure all here are very aware of this story I will not bother doing a summary. The below article includes some information about a suspect that has apparently been on the FBIs radar for some time (forgive the pun). The suspect was a former smoke jumper, marine, avid sky diver and worked at Boeing in Seattle as a technical advisor. When his ex wife was interviewed after the hijacking she even said “sounds like something he would do” A dna sample was taken by the fbi and compared to I’m assuming the clip on tie and he hasn’t been officially cleared. Ages and sketch line up and he has moved around a lot, not working for long stretches of time. I know this is all circumstantial but he seems like one of the better suspects on paper and with him in his 90s I would love a confession and some evidence to put this one to bed. Any time a new suspect I get too excited and put the blinders on and think “this guy is the guy” but who knows anymore this guy could just be another one that likes the attention. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7190669/amp/New-suspect-infamous-DB-Cooper-case-named-amateur-sleuth.html
