.......you saw in a picture, in an ad, on tv, in a movie, or was just being talked about by somebody (or somebody was eating or drinking), that directly led to you deciding you HAD to have it, which you eventually did ?? SAVE FERRIS

.......you saw in a picture, in an ad, on tv, in a movie, or was just being talked about by somebody (or somebody was eating or drinking), that directly led to you deciding you HAD to have it, which you eventually did ?? SAVE FERRIS I was at the store just a few days ago and overheard some woman who was asking a guy who works the meat department about these chicken patties with caramelized onions in them. She had heard from a friend of hers that they were really good, so she came to the store to get some but couldn't find them. The meat guy didn't really know what she was talking about.
I sort of butted in and asked her if maybe it was something in the freezer department. She didn't know, but she said they were Aidells. Well, when she said "Aidells" the meat guy then knew exactly what she was talking about, and he took her over to some refrigerator case that had that product, and others like it (it wasn't technically part of the meat department, so I guess that's why he was unfamiliar with it at first).
Anyway, I tagged along with them to check it out, and ended up buying a package. They come in a pack of 4 patties, each about the size of a cooked hamburger patty. Oh, and there are other flavors besides the caramelized onion, but that's the one I got, since this woman's friend sort of raved about them.

Aidell's often has a samples booth at our Costco on the weekend. I like most of their stuff, unless it's a combination of sweet and meat, like mango sausage or pineapple meatballs. Habanero sausages are my favorite, but too high in salt for me to buy.
