Forgive me but this is kind of crazy question. But for those of you who are absolute comic book experts, are there any moments in the Marvel Comics where there were times where the superheroes themselves had to be saved by average people?
We all know that part of a superhero's job is to save people. But I wonder if there are any times where the everyday person had to step in and help or save the hero? Share your thoughts.

It seemed to be the storyline in a lot of the hilariously bad Jimmy Olson comics in the 1960s

The Marvels series has an "ordinary" protagonist who "saves" heroes' from negative press and erroneous public perception.

I cant think of specific moments off the top of my head, but I do recall instances of mobs of people stepping in to help super heroes that were getting beat up on.
In Superman comics there's a supporting character called Bibbo. He's basically a take on Popeye. He's not the brightest bulb, but he runs a bar in Metropolis by the docks. He is practically obsessed with Superman. Whenever Supermans in trouble he rounds up a mob and comes to the defense of Supes.
Sometimes crowds of people come to Spidermans defense. But they're almost always peppered with people who don't like him too.
Its random.

Are you asking about Marvel Comics only or movies as well? Because in Spider-Man: Homecoming, when Peter ditched Liz at the Homecoming Dance and put on his Spider-Man suit and ran outside the building, he got ambushed by a bad guy and Ned had to save him.

Well if you took the time to read the subject heading and the actual post you would know that they are talking about the COMICS.
