Rosemary and Fred West Myra Hindley and Ian Brady Dean Corll Richard Speck Longford was made about both Brady and Hindley and I believe wests have had a miniseries as well. The two parter about the Wests was a good example of how to make a series about serial killers without glorifying them.

Been kind of fascinated with the Wests. Like I said, I had never heard of Rose and Fred until recently. Ran across a list of people with whole life tariffs and seen her. Most foreign serial killers get mentioned here. I remember Peter Sutcliffe, Andrei Chikatilo, Karla Homolka (that was right across the river from us). Ian Brady and Myra Hindley was when I was just a baby but I had heard of them. But the Wests were news to me. I think my interest comes from Son of Sam. Berkowitz was doing his thing when I was a young teen and he was such big news, even on the other side of New York.

Homolka was supposed to get a biopic a little ways back, with Jason Priestley practically of all people in it as well. I don't believe it was made.

One of their victims, Leslie Mahaffy, is nearly a clone of my sister. It creeped out the whole family, even though that poor girl was nearly 15 years younger that my sister. When her picture was it the paper, my mother screamed for a long time. She knew damned well it wasn't Marie but, even now, I see her photo and it kind of makes my hair stand up a bit. I'm not posting a pic of my sister here but you wouldn't believe the resemblance.

Have you watched the 2006 movie made about her called "Karla"? Starring Laura Prepon and Mischa Collins. Both were disturbed making it. Apparently Collins didn't know it was based on a real case. And urges fans not to watch it. They both give good performances.

Szilveszter Matuska - There was an obscure Hungarian/German TV film about him in 1983, but from what I heard it's not very good.
Dennis Rader, the BTK killer - There was going to be a movie about him starring Eric Bana, but I believe it ended up in development hell.

And doesn't focus on the gory details. I even like the Kane Hodder movie about him. But it's more of an exploitation movie. The bits and pieces from "Mindhunter" were good about him. I'm hoping we get more seasons. I wonder if they would ever attempt a theatrical BTK movie... It would probably focus on the investigation and not so much his dirty deeds. We've had so many Bundy movies it's crazy... I can think of 9 off the top of my head... Stanley Tucci played a good Creep in "The Lovely bones". I'm not sure who I'd cast for BTK.

Pedro Lopez - the Monster of the Andes.
Samuel Mason - Highwayman and serial killer in post-colonial America.
Delphine LaLaurie - Socialite, slaveholder, sadist.
Gilles de Rais - This guy. This guy.

There already was one made about them. We don't get many British mini series over here. Never heard of it
"See no evil: The Moors murders" is very tastefully done. And doesn't glamorize them. "Longford" about his correspondence with Myra Hindley in Prison is well done too. But was made by HBO. Both are worth seeking out.

Why not a movie centered on more military potential massacres as well.

Why not a movie centered on more military potential massacres as well. "Casualties of War", "The Promise" (2017), "Black Hawk down" and "13 hours" are good. "Flowers of War" is inspired by a true incident. And was also made into a miniseries.

Well... Looks like we're getting a new "Jonestown" movie... Joseph Gordon Levitt will play Jones. Chloe Grace Moretz will plays a follower who works herself up the ranks to be on his right hand side.
