If anyone is unfamiliar with her case www.huffingtonpost.com.au/entry/eldorado-jane-doe_n_56e6d679e4b0b25c918276a3?section=australia&x3l3di=&guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly91ay5zZWFyY2gueWFob28uY29tLw&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAE-Uw4hOGsgSckOst-iZ0k4PxH_Q-fdsoXppfJCBuAspbAznvzbuNKKtkUw9bandMhtEgNhMgWpMXj42ncrb3Qzg7zv1aBqcwLuWC7Agccbcf3LAoxPfEMeupcB9SCDbxiukvpp-_X4FITsvqhK-tskER-GifFutCa4BfezqY-FJ is a great place to start:
Recently it was announced that DNA had been linked to a family. They are certain that one of the men in their family must have fathered EDJ;, however they have no idea who she was. They are certain they never knew anything about her while she was alive.

The point of this post is because a photograph was found on a facebook page about 2 years ago that most of the members of the EDJD page do not think is her. However, I really think it is.
The picture was found on a page of a woman who had an album consiting mostly of photos of a person called Willie James Stroud 111. (possibly the Willie James Stroud whose name is listed in the Bible EDJD had in her possesion. The images show him at stages throughout his life. from being a baby through to being a young man (approx college age) whereupon it appears he passed away before his time.
Willie James Stroud 111 is in the photograph (striped shirt) that I think has EDJD in, as well as several other people. I cannot identify any of them from the rest of the album, although the same people appear in many of the photos, I cannot see who they are as adults on facebook. There are no comments on the photo and the two people that liked the photo, looking on their Facebook pages sheds no more light on anything. I do not know what the relationship is between Willie J Stroud and the woman who has the photos on her page either.
This woman is friends with people who have extensive friends lists of people named Stroud, and they are spread all across the USA.
I just want to know what other people think about the resemblence and if they think it is EDJD in the photo.
I have uploaded them here in a Flickr account I made so you can all see. (I blocked out the faces of the other people as I don't know if I am allowed to post them up here) www.flickr.com/photos/182518801@N07/
Everyone just repeats parrot fashion that the names in the Bible were a black family living in Irving Texas, who never replied to letters sent to them by the dectectives asking for info at the time of the initial investigation. There is nothing I have ever found to corroborate this entire statement, or any of it actually, as fact. It just seems like a story or urban myth that is passed down parrot fashion.
The next story/urban myth is that all the members of the family in the Bible are deceased. I also do not believe this is true. The woman who's facebook page the photo was found on has a friend/personon fb linked with many 'Strouds' in her friends list. I understand Stroud could be a very common name but I think the photograph needs researching or looking at more closely as it is a massive coincidence that this person has photographs on her page, with no caucasian people in them, except for one, in one photo and this person looks strikingly like EDJD! I think the person in the photo is Caucasian with 'crimped' hairstyle. The colours in the photo are 'warm' as opposed to the 'cool' colours of the mugshot.
EDJD did not need to have known all the people whose names were llisted in the Bible, even if she only knew or was in contact with one of them. Even if the Bible belonged to Willie James Stroud 111 and he gave it to her, or she took it with her at some point, that is enough.
The names of the Strouds that are connected to this particular FB profile are spread all across the USA. Some in places EDJD is believed to have travelled to. When the photo was found people were split over if it was actually her, or not. Some of the names in the Bible can be found on Facebook.
If it is EDJD in the photo, it is presumed to have been taken in a location which is also not any location that EDJD is known to have travelled through; however it is only towards the end of her life we have any idea of where she may have been. If the photo found on Facebook is her, i beleive it was taken when she was considerably younger to when she was murdered. (although I have edited this as a few people have already replied to this post and they think the person in the photo looks older. I can't see it. To me it is a younger version of the person in the mugshot/ID photos) Someone on FB stated that they believed the photo may have been taken at a place called The Hudson Guild as it can be seen on a shirt hung on the wall behind the people in the photo. The Hudson Guild is in New York. The woman whose page the photo is on, is in New York.
With this all said, I really do think it is EDJD. I would put money on it. I think it was taken in the 80s with her natural reddish hair colour and her hair is styled what we called in England 'crimped'. This was the fashion in the then. She died in 1991 so if it is her it would have had to have been taken prior to then at any rate.
Someone superimposed the photo that was found with the photos we know are EDJD and I have never seen a more perfect match unless of course it is the same person.
Nowadays on the EDJD facebook page everyone says that it is not her or they will not discuss this photo (they were reluctant to discuss it at the start and most of them just straight up dismissed it) They speculate that the Bible was acquired by EDJD in a homeless shelter at some point.
