Yes, it does, especially when films about my ancestors are in short supply.

I was a smidge underwhelmed.
I had pictured a different Ragnarok.

Me, on another thread: I just reeeeeeaallly wanted to see a live action Planet Hulk film... I hope that this isn't the basic plot of this film... and thus stealing that thunder, and keeping that from ever occurring. Best case scenario: In Planet Hulk, The Hulk is forced into combat with the Silver Surfer... which was switched, because of licensing, to Beta Ray Bill - a Thor character - in the animated film... Maybe they are just switching it, yet again, to Thor.... And, this could just be that scene from Thor's perspective... and a Planet Hulk film can still be made..

This looks suitably awesome. It does look good but as someone has stated here, they have merged the Planet Hulk storyline to this, whereas I would have loved to have seen a Planet Hulk standalone film

I really enjoyed the Incredible Hulk.

Yea...the fight is on Sakaar and everything according to some summaries. Assuming they're legit.
I imagine this fight taking place in the first half of the movie, before a lot of the Hela stuff.

Why does it look awesome, because it has black people in it? It's another video game made by cyphers.

I really enjoyed the Incredible Hulk. The Incredible Hulk : Budget $150 million; Box office $263.4 million Sorry, but there will likely never be another standalone Hulk movie. He doesn't have enough box office draw.

The draw isn;t the problem.
As much as I liked Ang Lee's Hulk, it was quite a bit different from all the others preceding it. I liked it primarily for it's beauty as well as the subtle way he showed Hulk's humanity. But that doesn't get you a billion dollars.
The second Hulk was godawful with no redeeming qualities. I can't think of one decent thing except maybe the intro in the soda factory.
Neither of them had strong Bruce Banners.
The latest guy changed that and Joss Whedon's version of him is aces.
However, he is too stupid at this point. Hulk needs some kind of underlying intelligence that they hint at before making him a savage before he can legitimately take on a bad guy and ths a coherent story.
