I got to admit, even though I’m not really one for social justice, seeing people freak out about this stuff is pretty funny.

The reason you like to watch this stuff is because... they're US.

Can we just say SJW's and anti-SJW's are two sides of the same very annoying coin and leave it at that?

And these are the same guys who complain about 'liberals' getting 'triggered.' You can cut the irony with a shotgun.

I can see both sides of the argument. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with being "woke" as long as it's not done too heavy-handedly or too extreme. In the same way, I don't think there's anything wrong with being anti-sjw as long as it's not done too heavy-handedly or too extreme.
When Captain Marvel's trailer first came out I thought it was way too heavy-handed with the identity politics, but then the movie came out and it was actually pretty tame. I still don't like Captain Marvel that much but at least it was for different reasons other than being too preachy.
So who knows, maybe Thor: Love and Thunder will be like that. Seemingly too SJW-ish on the outside but when the movie comes out it will turn out to be handled well. I've learned my lesson and I won't complain till I've seen the movie. That said, I will agree with one thing those videos said: Love and Thunder is a horrible title. Sounds like a porn parody.

For me the issue I have with Jane now gaining Thor's abilities and wielding his hammer going forward is that there has not been really any set up for this even when she has only been mentioned in dialog like in Ragnarok and in Endgame(Or in her cameo which was taken from a deleted scene from The Dark World if I'm not mistaken). Meanwhile none of these said YouTubers had expressed any negative feelings of Pepper Potts receiving her own armored suit and becoming Rescue in Endgame because we have seen the character grow over all these years and prove that she definitely deserved to fight alongside Tony and Jim. I'd also feel better if Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 were to come first, with Thor getting his groove back and becoming a total boss again who sets to return to New Asgard and set things right again as its king and new All-Father and in Thor 4 finally faces up to seeing Jane and bestows upon her powers that will also heal her if they go in the 'she has cancer' route.

My biggest worry out of all of this is that the MCU might be replacing Thor before he's had a chance to reach his full potential as a character. Thor only really started to get his groove in Ragnarok, got more development in IW, then all of a sudden he got sent back to square 1 in Endgame. I just hope they don't replace his character before he's had a chance to redeem himself.
