You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be led. Didn't you post something else before I did?

I also considered this in view of the theme of this thread:
Yesterday, all Arlon's troubles seemed so far away. Now it looks as though they're here to stay. Oh, let's believe in yesterday.
Suddenly He's not half the man He used to be. There's a shadow hanging over Imdb. Oh, yesterday came suddenly.
Why he has to go on and on, I don't know, he won't say. But says something wrong, how we long for yesterday.
Yesterday here was such an easy space to play. Now I need a new place to while away. Oh, I believe in yesterday.
But it is not big, or clever.

FilmFlaneur No, it's good. I laughed at "Why he has to go on and on, I don't know, he won't say." You might have liked the song parody threads we had years ago. It started as parodies of well--known songs from Musicals. Later it was Christmas songs and then it expanded to any song. They were sometimes tailored to specific posters, too.

It reminds me of something someone once said to me, and she wasn't trying to be funny:
"Do I look like I just fell off the turnip tree?"
