I really don't hate any of the Bonds. I had a blast watching through them all for the first time. I just think the Connery era had a suaveness and atmosphere to it that none could match. It's about more than just him in the role- I think the movies themselves were the best as well. Yes, YOLT and DAF are sort of silly but I do still really enjoy them. I also do love Casino Royale too. And Skyfall is pretty great too. Craig is certainly a perfect fit and I wish that Quantum and Spectre were as good as the other two. I am damn happy that he's probably returning for a fifth. It's funny, I really love Quantum. It's his one upbeat, not as dramatic film and has a ton of great moments. The opera scene is fantastic. So it Mathis' death. Strawberry in oil. It's honestly one of my favorites.

Which, if any, of the original 6 Avengers would you support recasting for, and why or why not? The easiest ones for me would be Natasha and Clint. For me neither Scarlett or Jeremy really bring anything special to those roles that another actor couldn't bring. I've never been a big fan of either of them and they're just kind of there in the films. Both for me would be easily replaceable. The same goes for Bruce Banner/Hulk. He's already been replaced twice so if he was replaced again I wouldn't give 2 shits about it or if they just killed him off for that matter as I've never been a fan of that character and I doubt an actor is going to make me change my mind. Chris Evans I have been a fan of his since seeing the movie Cellular. However I do think the role of Captain America could be played by a lot of different people as he's just got to look like a clean cut American model type guy whose straight laced and a good ol boy image. That is replaceable to me BUT the best way to go about that is to replace him in the sense of Bucky taking up the mantle instead of recasting Steve Rogers. The rest of them I'd HATE to see recast. RDJ flat out just is Tony Stark and it'd be damn near impossible for anybody to even come close to him. Chris Hemsworth to me flat out is Thor. Thor has been my favorite of the original 6 Avengers. I just love Hemsworth in that role so much. Could he be replaced? Maybe, but I have a REALLY hard time picturing anybody else in that role. I do know damn well I have no interest in seeing a Jane Foster run as Thor I'll say that much.

I'd be ok with recasting all of them. I've seen at least five Supermen, six Batmen, three Spidermen. The characters will always live on in different interpretations. ^This. We've already seen two Rhodeys and two Bruce Banners in the MCU. I would hope though, for continuity's sake, that they turn them into legacy characters instead of inserting a new actor after ten years and pretending the character just doesn't age.

It really ruins the whole movie for me.

I just tried to enjoy it.

I would rather see the characters switched out over time by new Avengers. It's just weird thinking that RDJ or Chris Evans being replaced.
